The pier stretches a fair distance out into open water. The boardwalk is a mass of stalls and sellers, and small huts where you can rent beach chairs.

At the fair end there are a few attractions, only open on weekends such as bumper cars, two rollar coasters and other entertaining (if stomach churning) attractions.
On the weekends the rides are open from 7pm to 6am, Friday night to Monday morning.
