Cino blinked a few times as he listened to Abigail talk about her personality. Indeed she was a bit too...bubbly perhaps you could say. He could understand why it would bother most people, but to him it just didn't effect him. That was just...well...Cino. His emerald eyes blinked again once more when she had spoken in a shock about funnel cake. He looked over to a nearby stand where a couple had just bought one. The contents upon the plate steaming. The scent slowly made its way to his nose which made him simply smile. Rumaging in his coat pocket, Cino produced a few dollars and folded them into Abigail's hand. "How about you go buy some for us?" He smiled as he patted her on the back towards the vendor.

Squeaking happily, Abigail ran to the vendor. After this, she would need to leave though. Buying the funnel cakes, she nearly dropped them when she felt the annoyance rolling off the vendor. Rushing back to Cino, a couple of fingers holding onto Bun-bun's ears.
She handed him one funnel cake and looked back at the vendor, still looking startled.
Once Cino had taken his funnel cake, she just held Bun-bun under one arm while eating the funnel cake. That's all she focused on right now.

Cino watched the excited girl rush over to the vendor. She seemed in such a hurry as the man also seemed just as startled. Cino smirked slightly at the sight as she came rushing back, almost tripping and dropping the delicate desert. He took the bit she offered him and broke a few pieces off. The aroma was quite delicious as he let the scent fill his senses. He popped a few pieces into his mouth and ate. This was probably one of the few things he had eaten that day. He placed a hand on top of Abigail's head as he watched her eat. "Enjoying it?" He looked at her before going back to his pieces.

Abigail ate it, chewing on the warm pastry pieces. She smiled as she got pet on the head. She liked it, mainly because it felt nice. Smiling up at Cino, she nodded happily. "Yep, yep! I like it! It's so warm! And sweet!" she stated, giggling a little afterward.
He was enjoying himself, she could feel it, and she smiled again, going back to her funnel cake. Licking the powdered sugar off her lips, she let out another little giggle.
She panicked for a moment as she didn't feel Bun-bun under her arm. Looking around for a moment, she made a distressed sound when she saw Bun-bun had indeed fallen.
She looked around, trying to see where she had dropped Bun-bun, getting a little more panicked, until she saw him in the dirt.
Reaching over to get Bun-bun, she hadn't realized she lost two pieces of funnel cake in her little panic attack.

Cino finished the small bit left of his funnel cake he had in his hand before checking up on Abigail once again. He found her looking side to side for something and then realized she was worried about her stuffed rabbit. What a silly girl. Cino watched as a few pieces of her funnel cake rolled off her small plate. He took a few pieces from his plate and placed them on Abigail's as she was brushing off her stuffed rabbit. She wouldn't notice. Letting out a bit of a yawn, Cino looked around to notice that it was starting to become evening. The sunlight was slowly beggining to fade away as the orange sky was lit up still. Lights were starting to flicker on around the entire festivel. It was a rather beautiful site to see.

Abigail looked happy with her saved Bun-bun, and finished up her funnel cake. Looking around, she too noticed the sun setting. She blinked, and watched in pure amazement. She hadn't seen many sunsets in her life, and each one was unique to her.
Grinning, she looked up at Cino, realizing they couldn't enjoy the sunset. "Um...Cino, don't we have to get back now?" she asked softly, not touching his pretty jacket.
She still had some powder sugar on her fingers and didn't want to stain his jacket.
She shifted uncomfortably, and waited for the slight wave of nausea to go over her. 'Too many people,' she thought, trying not to make a face.
She didn't notice she failed.

Cino watched as Abigail finished the funnel cake...well the pieces he gave her. He watched as she looked up at him with an inquisitive face. He grinned slightly as she hesitantly asked if they needed to go back to the Academy. Her weight shifted from side to side as if being anxious about his answer. Her face although could say it all, she seemed to be a bit nervous at the crowd of people. "Come on, I'll take you down to the docks, they're supposed to have fireworks or so I heard." He extended his hand and waited for her response. He hoped she wasn't afraid of fireworks.

Abigail took Cino's hand, and asked, "What are fireworks?"
She was intrested, and wanted to see what they were. She was extremely curious, and pulled a little on his hand. "Come on, please? I want to see what they are!" she stated, smiling up at him.
She didn't notice the small trace of powder sugar on her face, and pulled a little on his hand again. "Come on!" she exclaimed, and began to walk in a random direction...which was the wrong way to the docks.
Holding Bun-bun with her other hand, the plate was in the garbage. She wanted to rush away, and see the things called 'fireworks'. 'They sounded pretty,' she thought.

He felt the girl's grasp through the material of his gloves. He blinked a few times when she asked him what fireworks were. It was a bit odd that she hadn't seen any or heard of them before. She was how old perhaps? He simply shrugged the questions away from his mind and was being dragged in...the wrong direction. He quickly placed a bit of resistance against him and her and tugged a little in the near opposite directio. "Its this way." He laughed for a moment at the girl's excitement. Their stroll took them along a sidewalk and eventually to the wooden docks. There were already a few people lounging or standing around waiting. Cino noticed a small hill where a few people had already camped out spots that overlooked the water. Romping up the slope, the two eventually reached the top of the hill where Cino had promptly sat down on the ground, crossing his legs. "They should be starting soon...just watch over the water." He pointed out where you could just barely see ships in the distance.

Abigail spun slightly when they turned in the right direction, and she blushed with embarrassment. Walking after him, she giggled softly, and answered, "Whoops! Sorry."
She followed him easily, and they walked up the hill. When Cino sat down, she sat down next to him, cuddling a little into his side. She held Bun-bun to her chest, and stared out at the sea.
She was wondering why these 'fireworks' would be over the water. Of course, if they had anything to do with fire, it made sense, and Abigail began to play with one of Bun-bun's ears.

He felt the warm body of Abigail lean up against him slightly as he glanced at her before returning his attention back to the dark sea. Well, it was dark until that one little shining streak in the distance was hurled into the air and exploded in the air with a resounding 'Boom!'. Red sparks showered out from the explosion as the few people around him either cheered or shrieked from being startled. The once dark water was lit up momentarily revealing the reflection nearly of the sparks as well as ships that had anchored themselves in the distance. "Those are fireworks." He wondered if she would be afraid, startled, or intrigued by them. He hadn't remembered the last time he came out to watch such a spectacle. It was quite a long...time.

Abigail jumped slightly at the feeling that rumbled through her chest from the giant 'boom', not the sound. She let out an interested sound, and leaning forward slightly, Bun-bun being squished tightly against her chest. Almost nearly in half.
She let out an 'awed' sound when she saw the reflection over the water, and let out a happy giggle. "So that's why they put them near the water!" she exclaimed with excitement.
Though, she was also quivering a little, from the being startled of the fireworks exploding close to her. She snuggled a little closer to Cino, and let out a nervous giggle.

Cino simply enjoyed watching the colorful spectacle from his position. He heard Abigail squeek an odd sounding before marveling at the colors of the explosion. She was quite pleased with the show, even though it was only the first firework. He felt her body shaking slightly perhaps still a bit apprehensive about the loud booms and shakes they made. A trio of streaks of light split into the night air before shower the air with a bright white streams of sparks. The crackles gently died down before another set was launched, this time there were six. Each exploded at different altitudes and made a variety of colors and twirls in the air. He placed one hand on her head for a moment. "Don't worry, they won't hurt you." He wanted to make sure she knew she was safe. He felt the need to make sure she felt protected. Abigail reminded him of...a little sister, not that he ever had siblings though.

Abigail's eyes widened at the sight, and she clutched at Bun-bun. More explosions into the air, and she let out another nervous giggle. They were amazing, but they still made her nervous.
When Cino rested his hand on her head, she looked up slightly with her eyes, and with only a tiny turning her head upward. At his words, she beamed up at him. "Okay," she stated softly, and cuddled up more against Cino's side.
With more lights in the sky, being reflected on the ocean, she surprisingly began to get a little sleepy. Closing her eyes slightly, she began to fall asleep. Of course, she also had a busy day...especially for her.

Cino let out a small smile as he watched the last of the fireworks shoot up into the sky. The small groups and gatherings of people began to disperse as he let out a bit of a sigh. With that he looked over to Abigail he was huddled up next to him, holding on to his coat. He noticed that her eyes were closed and seemed to be sleeping. With that, he gently picked her up, being careful not to wake her and began to carry her with him back to the Academy. Apparently she was already tired from their little outing. Another odd person that seemed to become attached to him even though he didn't make much effort. Funny how things worked out. He felt like she was someone he knew for a long time. Perhaps it was because he didn't have a sibling to grow up with. She just seemed...like what he thought a sibling would be like.
