Raiden wasn’t much of a book person. He read occasionally, but only when he had to. Reading just didn’t do anything for him.
Which was why he was currently using a thick text book as a make shift pillow.
The Hanyou was currently laying flat on his back, sprawled out across a wooden table in one of the more secluded corners of the library. One leg pent up and the other hanging off the bottom end of the table. He had his hand placed across his chest and his other arm hung, limp, over the tables edge.
He figured no one would disturb him here. The library had been empty, spare a couple of students, when Raiden had entered with the intention of getting some shut eye.
He'd lost his dorm key earlier and being to lazy decided to find another place to count some sheep. There wasn't a chance in hell he was going to sleep where bratty kids could force him out of sleep by tugging at his poor, sensitive ears. Or by running around screaming and vomiting and crapping and whatever it was kids did these days.
He had been drifting in and out of sleep since he had made the table his bed, (sleeping on a wooden table was not at all comfortable,) and had finally managed to slip off to dream land.

((Sorry it's megaaa short! Lol. I couldn't think of a reason for badRai to be in the library! XD.))

Anemone hated researching essays. She hated writing them, but she didn't have the aptitude for researching them either. Least of all when it was a subject she wasn't particularly enthralled by. And if she was being honest, the life cycle of a gubby would have been a more interesting topic than how to cross breed flowers.
But that was what she was researching. Heaving stupid heavy book after stupid heavy book from place to place so she could make notes and condense her sources and credit them, and whatever the Hell else she was supposed to do when using referance material.
She had one thing to be grateful for. It was quiet at least. She could hear other students in the corridors, but very few ever came in the library when classes were in session. Anemone had a relatively free day, and had decided to use it to get her work finished.
Which was easier said than done when she couldn't stop herself from glowing.
Raiden was in the library. He'd come in while Anemone had beenupstairs gathering more material, and had made a makeshift bed on one of the tables - using one of the books she needed - and probably the only book that was proving any use.
Typical Raiden.
He was lucky the librarian wasn't around. She would have thrown him out of his ass without a moment's hesitiation, had she seen him abusing her books and tables like that.
Dumping a trio of books on a nearby table, Anemone sighed and decided to just face up to it and get her one, decent book back. She swiped her hair back off her face and stepped over, leaning over Raiden's face, tapping his shoulder.
"Are you asleep? If you are, I'm taking my book back anyway."
She paused for a moment, shrugged and took hold of his book pillow, snatching it out from under his head and returning to where she had been working.

“-The hell!”
Raiden had bolted upright the moment his head hit the tables surface. He cursed loudly, his muddled senses swinging back into play, and turned an angry eye on the presence that had disturbed his sleep.
Anemone was sat at a table not too far from his own, his make-shift pillow in her hands. Growling lowly, he wasn’t a morning person, he hopped off of the table and stalked over to the glowing teenager.
“Do you have some kind of uncontrollable need to annoy the f**k out of me all the time.” He bit out in a low grumble and plucked his ’pillow’ from her hands with ease. In all honesty, he wasn’t all that tired. In fact he felt pretty rejuvenated. Anemone had just pissed him off and now he planned to be an ass about it.
“I was using this, brat.”
Winking down at the student, a haughty smile curving his lips, he headed back over to his table.

While Anemone knew her stealing the book back would tempt Raiden's irritation into full blown annoyance, she didn't really care all that much. he may have been acting weird, but he was more interesting than her work. Though didn't have to know that.
"Hah. Don't flatter yourself." Anemone muttered rising for her seat and persued him. "You nicked the book I was using, and I'm sure a teacher wouldn't begrudge a student their books to get their work done." She smirked a little reaching his table and sitting down on it obstructing his venue.
"Give me the book back. I'll be done with it in a few minutes." She quirked an eyebrow, an amused and somewhat smug smile playing on her lips. She was rather surprised she hadn't gone into full blown glowing mode the second he'd spoken to her, she was glowing, but not as brightly as that night in the cafeteria kitchen, their confrontation still fresh in her mind.
She held her hand out expectantly and leaned forward, "book please. Give to me, and I'll thank you later." Anemone tilted her head to one side, forcing herself not to wink or giggle. Two could play... whatever game Raiden was playing.

Raiden snorted at the teacher-student comment. He didn’t give a rats ass about the students or their work.
“And I’m sure this teacher doesn’t give a Sh*t.”
The 23 year old stopped before the table when Anemone quickly took a seat on it. Which was pretty much pointless, it wouldn’t take any effort at all to pick her off of his ‘bed’.
So she wants to play. Hm..
Again he wondered if Anemone realised at all, the predicament she would get herself into if she kept pushing. Because sure he’s a teacher and sure she’s a student and sure he’s supposed to obey the rules but - that’s just it. He doesn’t give a Sh*t about rules.
A devilish smirk tugged at the corner of his lips. He was silent for a moment, maroon eyes openly roaming over Anemone, stopping momentarily at her legs before moving back up to meet her stare.
He can’t deny that Anemone is hot. In fact he thinks she’s more than hot. Beautiful even. And her legs. Those legs are sinful, he decides, giving them another brief glance.
“Thank me now and I’ll give it to you.” He leered, matching smug smirk for smug smirk. He waved the book in the air lightly, taunting Anemone.

"I'm sure you don't." Anemone quipped back, her gaze switching between Raiden and the book. All she wanted to do was finish her stupid essay. Why did Raiden have to be such an ass about it. She really couldn't work him out. Sometimes he was annoyingly monosyllabic and impossible to get anything from. And other times... it was like he wanted her attention.
Anemone looked back in time to see Raiden's eyes leaving hers and travelling downwards.
"Take a picture, it'll last longer." Anemone murmured, resisting the urge to glow brighter. Her hue was fairly dim at the moment, and she needed to keep it like that. She didn't want to let him know he was getting to her.
Anemone twisted her legs beneath her, slipping up onto her knees. If he really wanted to play, then she would play along to the best of her ability. She'd seen plenty of films and read plenty of books to know just how to play along in this kind of tug-of-war situation. It was a battle of wills, and she wasn't about to give up yet.
"Thank you...?" Anemone repeated slowly, tilting her head to one side and casually walking her fingers up the central line of Raiden's chest. "Well - and correct me if I'm wrong - last time you asked for a thank you, you said you wanted me." She leaned in a little, resting both hands on Raiden's shoulders, bringing herself up to her full height, the table giving additional elevation making her on par height wise with Raiden.
She glanced at Raiden's mouth as she paused, an involentary action she hadn't meant to show, and she was hit with the desire for him to kiss her. Ignoring that thought at the forefront of her mind for the moment, her gaze returned to Raiden's eyes, half-hooded and mildly inviting.
"Well, here I am."
((Wow... Foxy Anemone is fun to write. o__o))

Raiden couldn’t hide the flare of hunger and want that lit up his maroon eyes, as Anemone danced her fingers up his chest.
He hadn’t expected the student to react like she had, willing and teasing, with inviting eyes and soft luring words. He expected her to shy away and hurry off to her own table. Which would have been disappointing because then he can’t have his fun.
But her hands are rested on his shoulders and she’s up on her knees, staring directly into his eyes with a confidence he hadn’t known she had. And damn she’s sexy.
Discarding the book, he didn’t need it anymore. Keeping up the argument wasn’t as fun or as interesting as having a girl tell you that she’s yours. He stepped forward and closed the small space that had separated their bodies, his hands automatically finding her waist.
There’s something dark and predatory in his gaze now, something raw that would make any person under it’s intensity tremble.
“You don’t know what you’re getting into.” He warned, his voice low and smooth. It was the first and the last warning he was going to give her.
Short, warm breaths tickle his lips, just as they had the night before in the cafeteria. This time however he leaned his head in a fraction, brushing his lips against Anemone’s softly. It took his entire effort not to press his lips against hers fully. He would, just not yet. Now he was giving her a chance to get the hell out while she still could.
He wouldn't make it easy for her though.
Bumping his nose against hers lightly, he turned his head and nipped at her lips with his own, teasing and light and almost playful.

Her behaviour seemed to have surprised him. And she could understand why. The last time they were like this she'd been a skittish glowing mess, barely able to get her words out or look at him, and he'd toyed on that. Now the tables seemed to have turned in a manner of speaking Not entirely, he wasn't a wibbling ball of goo on the floor like she had been, but she wasn't skittish or flustered as she had been before.
She noted a somewhat change in his demenor. He went from what she may have considered playful (if irritating) to predetory in a manner of seconds. The change would have been barely noticable, if she hadn't been so close. His gaze seemed to alter becoming darker and more forthwright. The most obvious change was how he closed the gap. He left the book to the side, netiher of them interested in its contents, and Anemone had all but completely forgotten her essay.
Feeling his cbody come into contact, Anemone felt herself get on edge, and then his hands on her waist cause a tremble to escape up her spine. A shiver of excitement she failed at surpressing. She almost cowered under his gaze, she could feel her markings brightening moment by moment and it was hard to resist not falling into him. But Anemone stayed upright, her will was not going to be the first to break.
His voice sounded the same but was much lower than usual, and Anemone surpressed a second tremble that threatened to shoot up her spine. "I think I can handle anything you dish out... I'm probably about as stubborn as you are."
Then he arched his head to oneside and she felt his lips brush hers for a moment. That was enough to send her markings bright blue. She couldn't control it, and she didn't care. That wasn't a kiss. He was easing her in. Letting her consider what she was getting herself into. Giving her the chance to back out.
Fat chance. Even if she had wanted to rethink this, the alluring nips he applied would have stopped her. She could feel herself leaning in against him, rather helpless to resist.
"You're toying with me." Anemone stated, in a voice she barely recognised as her own. She did what she had wanted to do the night before and swept a hand up into his hair, avoiding any touches to his ears. She didn't want to spoil the moment by rubbing one of them by accident. "Maybe you're the one who doesn't know what they're getting themselves involved in."

Anemone was glowing a brilliant blue, much brighter than the night before. He wondered if that was why her body felt so warm under his hands, he could literally feel heat radiating from her body in waves. But maybe it was his imagination. Being stood here, pressed against Anemone, his lips mere inches from her own, made it sort of hard to concentrate. Which was why, when Anemone commented that he was toying with her, he only managed a distant “Yeah..”
Raiden wasn’t entirely sure what was happening. Minutes earlier he had been in total control, his senses and his mind sharp. But now, now his thoughts were muddled and his senses had gone haywire.
The feel of Anemone in his arms, warm and soft. The sight of her pink lips, parted and inviting and her scent - it had all become a little overwhelming and in all honesty it wasn’t something he had experienced before. Ever.
Raiden nudged at long strands of brown hair with his nose, exposing her neck and closed his eyes. His nostrils flared and he inhaled, taking in her scent. As always her scent was intoxicating. Sweet and natural and alluring. It was one of the things he loved about Anemone. Her scent was enough to drive him wild. All he wanted to do was bury his nose into the crook of her neck and stay there.
Except he couldn’t leave her lips unattended. Moving his head back to it’s previous place, a grin tugged at his lips at Anemone’s final comment.
“Shh.” He hushed quietly and caught her lips in a kiss.

This was... nice. Better than nice, but Anemone didn't feel she could express things any better. She'd had daydreams, as girls did when they had crushed onmen who were really completely unobtainable, but nothing quite compared to the real thing.
Up close she could feel that Raiden was a fair bit bigger than her. But he was pure muscle than anything else. He was taller, broad shouldered and she could feel his arms and hands would have complete control, and not relinquish it easily. She didn't want him too. She felt his hands were probably the only things keeping her upright. Her legs had given way a while ago.
She glanced at him, feeling him move, nestling against her neck. She didn't mind. In fact she rather liked it. His breathing tickled, and it gave her the oppertunity to toy with his hair, twisting odd tendrils around her fingers. She had a momentary wonder of how this came about. She still wasn't sure whether this was the Raiden she was used to, or some incredible transformation. She wanted to care, and while half of her did, the other half, the more over-powering half argued and won. Just told her to go with it, and deal with the consequences later, she was eighteen and a consenting adult. She knew what she was doing, and it seemed so did Raiden. Any qualms about status differences he may have had, didn't seem to come into his attention.
He was shifting, and Anemone tilted her head a little observing as he came back to face her. He was kind of smiling. She barely caught a whisper of his command for her to hush when she felt his lips meet her own and practically melted.
That moment sent her markings to a new level. The glowing meeting a point where it almost hurt. She was probably bright enough to light up an entire room.
A kiss was different from what Anemone had expected. In films they always seemed so noisy. This wasn't. She was surprised as it felt soft, she hadn't expected that. She'd expected something more demanding, barely giving her room to breathe. Raiden was just full of surprises. She shuffled a little closer, bringing her arms around his neck, gently sifting her fingers through the back of his hair. As she pulled away, she softly bit his lower lip, quirking an eyebrow suggestively.
"So - now you've got me, what did you want from me?" Anemone was dis covering it was kind of tricky being suggestive, while glowing like a 1000 watt bulb. But it was fun anyway.

Kissing Anemone was amazing and Raiden had to wonder why he hadn’t done this sooner. Her lips were soft against his own, and he was a little disappointed when the kiss was broken. Anemone gently tugging at his lower lip with her teeth made up for it, however. The action sent an electric shiver throughout his entire body, causing the hairs on the back of his neck to stand on end and his fingers to dig into her lower back gently.
He kissed her again, ignoring her question momentarily. This time he held her a little closer, one hand rested on her lower back and the other on her hip. He postponed his answer because - well he didn’t know why he didn’t just say that he wanted sex. Because that’s what he wanted. And in any normal situation if a female he was attracted to asked him the question Anemone had, he would’ve given them a straightforward, blunt answer. Because Raiden is brutally honest, no matter what the situation.
But there’s an annoying as hell voice, nagging, in the back of his mind. A voice of doubt. Prompting an irritating feeling of guilt. Which he thinks is just weird and stupid because it hasn’t ever happened with any of the other females he’s been intimate with. Besides he hasn’t even attempted to get Anemone into the sack. Yet.
“What I want-” Raiden murmured between gentle nips to Anemone’s lips. “-Is something you can’t give me.” He finished and parted to meet with Anemone’s eyes, his thumb idly tracing a glowing mark.
Her lips were a pretty pink, that were a little swollen and her cheeks flushed. She looked pretty and all of a sudden Raiden was hit with urge to kiss her again. Except he didn’t, because that annoying voice was there again.
“Don’t you have an essay to write.” He said suddenly and even though he meant to break away from Anemone, he couldn’t will himself to. Because having her lithe form pressed up against his was oddly comforting and - well hot.

This was definately something Anemone felt she could get used to.
The intimacy surrounding a kiss was something Anemone had never experienced until now. She'd never believed she was missing anything, despite her 'normal' sisters having their girlish meetings about latest conquests. She was now a convert. Kisses were wonderful.
And all the better that it was Raiden.
His mouth was intoxicating. Anemone felt a twinge of annoyance with herself when she was the one to pull away. The twinge barely lasted. It wasn't just his mouth and lips she was finding alluring it was everything. She could feel his hands moving at the back of her mind. He had experience and the way he handled her, and applied pressure showed it. He hand one hand on her lower back as he kissed her again, and Anemone's entire body stiffened. It wasn't out of surprise or out of concern, her back was just sensitive. And he'd found a specific, markingless place, that made her react as if it was one of her markings he was touching.
She heard a growl echo at the back of her throat as he broke the kiss to speak. Anemone managed to open her eyes, feeling hazy and a little light-headed, her mind clearing gradually was Raiden's words sank in.
Eyebrows furrowing, Anemone glanced across at where he was rubbing her marking. The temptation to tremble was about ready to take over her entire body, but it seemed to quell the more she looked. She'd managed to bite her lips into her mouth, unable to hide her confusion and minor disappointment.
"I... don't understand." She murmured, though she could barely even hear her own voice. Her gaze returned to his, as he mentioned her essay. It was so sudden, she felt like she'd just been stabbed in the gut. Half of her wanted to cry; to kick Raiden and say to Hell with him. But her more over-powering half kept her there, arms around his neck, searching his face for some kind of sign. She was still confused and trying to hide her hurt.
"Did I do something wrong?"
(( LOL! Its okay! Stop apologising! He's awesome! And this is toned down?? I wanna know what he's like full on. XD He's such a fun character! C: ))

“No.” Raiden hastily replied upon hearing the hurt laced within her words.
He felt a touch guilty that he’d upset Anemone. He hadn’t meant to. He just didn’t want her rushing head on into something she could end up regretting. It’s confusing because normally Raiden doesn’t give a rats ass about the females he has sex with. He’s never going to see them again so why bother, once he’s been satisfied he could care less about them.
But Anemone’s different. He hasn’t met anyone quite as interesting or unique as Anemone. Sure she can be a pain in the ass, but he likes having her around. She’s beautiful and bright and sexy and he doesn’t want to hurt her.
“You sure this is what you want?” He questioned, both his tone and gaze level and serious. He was double checking, making sure that playing this game.. Or whatever it was they were doing, was something she really wanted. Because what he wants and what she wants could be two very different things. Of course he knows what he wants but Anemone.. He had an idea she was on an entirely different page. Which was fine. He wouldn’t coerce her into anything. Raiden might be an ass 95 % of the time but he’d never force a woman against her will.
Whilst waiting for her reply, Raiden’s ear twitched suddenly, turning in the direction in which he heard the shuffle of feet and quiet giggles.
“Someone’s coming.” He whispered, chancing a glance over his shoulder and before Anemone could make any sort of comment, he whisked her from the table. Placing her down onto her feet, the Hanyou grabbed her by the hand and hurriedly tugged her along.
The pair hid behind another book case, not too far from the table they had been.. Occupying. There wasn’t much space between the bookcase and the concrete wall, but Raiden didn’t mind. It meant that he got to be up close with Anemone. He didn’t make any advances though, he simply leaned against the bookcase, hands in his pockets and peered through a gap to see a gaggle of young girls take over his table.

Anemone followed without any disagreement. She hadn't heard anything, but Raiden had those ears which could probably pick up the sound of a pin dropping, so she didn't question it and believed him.
Hidden between the bookshelves and the wall, Anemone squeezed up against the wall, staring at the floor, trying to ignore Raiden looming over her for the moment as she got her head straight.
She hadn't done anything wrong, apparently, he had just suddenly flicked a switch. and what did he mean was this what she wanted? She'd been kissing him back hadn't she? She'd been teasing him and he'd been reciprocating. She wanted him, wasn't that enough?
Then she was suddenly hit by a thought. He was more experienced. And something she couldn't give him... Or maybe it was something he thought she didn't want to give him.
"Sex, right?" Anemone murmured, keeping her voice low so it wouldn't be heard by the new arrivals. She didn't dare look up, if she did she'd just fall back into him. She was having trouble resisting the temptation to wrap her arms around him again. She was already missing the closeness and his body heat. "That's what you want... that you think I can't give you."
Anemone glanced up at him for a split second, before returning her gaze back to the carpet. She wasn't sure what to think about anything. This was all too confusing. She wanted him, and that was all she was completely certain of. Sex was... well... not something Anemone really ever thought about. It was one of those things that happened to other people, that she heard about.
She wanted him, that she was sure of. And she was fairly certain the feeling was reciprocated. If their antics on the desk were anything to go by. If things continued as they had been going, then sex would most likely come into it, sooner or later. But Anemone didn't want to be a notch in abed post, and she doubt Raiden really wanted to be tied down with an eighteen year old annoyance.
Applying her fingers to her temple Anemone rubbed at the spots between her eyebrows trying to put off the headache she could feel starting to settle. She was thinking too much, she liked this more when it was all impulse and she hadn't had time to pause and think and over-analyse.
Finally lifting her gaze to meet Raiden's Anemone ignored all desire to kiss him, and simply levelled him with a stare. "What do you want?"

Raiden glanced at Anemone when she finally spoke. She’d realised what it was he wanted.
“I want a lot of things.” He answered vaguely and turned to rest his back against the bookcase. He eyed Anemone over, and sighed lightly. “I’m not going to lie to you. I’m a 23 year old Hanyou. I like sex. I want sex.”
He glanced away and shrugged his shoulders lightly. “But I don’t want to rush you.” He could hardly believe these words were coming out of his mouth. But it was the truth, deep down, he liked Anemone a lot more then he let on. More than he first realised. He didn’t want to rush or upset her.
“We can go slow.” He added softly, turning his eyes back to meet her own.
He realised then that he meant that he wanted something more than just sex. Anemone was simply too addictive. He couldn’t just have a one night stand with her and he knew it. He’d had a taste of her and he was already finding it difficult not to reach over and pull her into a kiss. He knew that if he slept with her he wouldn’t give her up. He’d want her to be his and only his. And that was something of a daunting thought because Raiden hasn’t ever been in a relationship before. Sure he’s thought about finding a life time mate. But that’s easier said then done. Potential life time mates aren’t easy to come by.
And why the hell was he worrying so much. Hooking up with a girl wasn’t supposed to be so difficult. He actually felt somewhat out of place and even a little embarrassed.
But Anemone’s not just some girl
He’d been attracted to her since the moment he laid eyes on her. Which of course had caused a problem because professors aren’t supposed to get involved with students. So naturally, he was extra distant with her. He didn’t want to get too close. Which was hard because Anemone can be damn persistent.
"What do you want?"
