Several times when Raiden was speaking or pausing to think and breathe, Anemone opened her own mouth to speak but found she couldn't really think of anything to say, so would just close it again, and wait for Raiden to continue.
She liked what he was saying though. Anemone didn't claim to be an expert, in fact she knew very little about the inner workings of men and their minds, and Raiden was an additional enigma given how shady he was about himself. But what we was saying sounded promising. Almost like they were singing from the same hymn sheet.
"Going slow... sounds good." Anemone nodded once, firmly as she spoke for the first time in a while.
Raiden's gaze didn't faulter from her own, and Anemone half smiled. She could see them having similar 'what do you want' conversations a lot. They were both fairly... 'special' in their own unique ways. when he asked her, her answer came fairly easily, sounding, even to Anemone, like it had been rehearsed.
"I want you to be happy." That was the honest truth, she stepped towards him, closing the gap, and slipped her hands up onto his shoulders and around his neck. She ignored the fact they could be caught any second and kissed him softly though only for a few moments, breaking away and speaking again, her lips resting against Raiden's. "I want to be able to make you happy. Okay?"
Anemone pulled back entirely to survey him, eyebrow arched, mildly hopeful.

Raiden blinked, somewhat dumbfounded by Anemone’s answer to his question. What she wanted, was for him to be happy? Was that really what she wanted? She sounded sincere but he still couldn’t be sure. His expression of surprise was quick to slip into a sceptical squint. He wasn’t quite used to having people care about him enough to wish for his happiness.
His doubt was quelled when Anemone reached across to offer him a kiss. He pouted lightly when she parted, returning to where she had been stood. He was taken by surprise again when Anemone said that she was the one who wanted to make him happy, thought his surprise was quick to melt into a satisfied grin.
“Sounds good to me.” He answered and removed one hand from his pocket. Catching two of Anemone’s fingers, he tugged gently, leading her back to the position she had been in seconds earlier. Moving his hand to rest on her lower back, he pulled the tall teen closer, so that she was pressed up against his front - and leaned in to press a kiss to her lips.
His kisses were much hotter than they had been earlier, his lips eager and hungry. He removed his other hand from his pocket, moving to rest it on the curve of her thigh and shifted their position so that it was Anemone pressed against the bookcase - leaving him in a more dominant position.
The 23 year old could feel himself getting carried away so, with much effort, broke their kiss. He lifted an arm to rest his hand against a high shelf on the bookcase, his other still rested on her hip. He was panting a little, his breaths short and shallow. Anemone’s kisses would be the death of him. He was sure he’d never grow tired of her kisses.

Anemone was forced not to chuckle when the grin slipped into view of Raiden's mouth. She'd never seen him smile like that, so it was fairly new to see. Kind of amusing too, but sweet. She did like it. He tugged on her hand, and she returned to have previous position against him without any arguement. Why would she argue? She wanted to be close to him.
She felt his hand wander around her back, pressing into the lower segment. Her hands fumbled for his shirt, grabbing to collar to keep herself upright. Somehow she didn't think falling over would be a great idea right now.
The differenece in Raiden's kisses was unmissable. Any previous care, or attempts not to over whelm her were forgotten. They'd gone from something that boarder on innocent, to something that boardered on sordid. The hand on her thigh did not help matters. She felt her stomach tilt and the bookshelf pressing against her back and shoulders through her hair. There was a temptation to lift the leg he hand in his grip, but she resisted, satisfying herself by lifting her foot off the floor gingerly. He was completely in charge, and he knew it, Anemone was doing her best to match kiss for kiss, but her inexperience showed.
He broke, it seemed against his will, and leaned against the bookshelf, looming again. Anemone's eyes opened, though she was unaware she'd even closed them, and she could seem him above her, breathing short and shallow, catching his breath. Anemone smiled a little, covering his mouth with one hand and peering over his shoulder. She could see the door better than her could, and it was currently closing.
The girl's must have gone.
"I think we're safe now." She murmured, glancing at his face and lips - kiss swollen and red. Anemone giggled softly, returning to her previous place, nestling against him, nuzzling his neck. She could feel his pulse point running underneath his skin, beating against the bridge of her nose quickly. She adjusted her position a little and breathed against his neck, laying an open mouthed kiss on the rapidly pulsating area. This was joined by several more, making a trail up his neck, and completed with a small nip that grazed his jaw bone.

Raiden practically leapt out of his skin the moment he felt Anemone press a kiss to the sensitive area of his neck, he didn’t. Instead his fingers curled into the material of her clothes, his other hand gripping the wooden shelf tightly.
For someone who wants to take it slow, Anemone sure was being a tease. He was torn between capturing her innocent lips in an intense kiss or parting from her. If he kissed her however, he had a feeling he wouldn’t stop. Which wouldn’t be good because he knows that he has a tendency to get carried away in the heat of the moment.
Pulling away, his fingers slipping from her hip, he stood back and observed Anemone for a moment. Despite the fact that the annoying nagging voice was till there, echoing in the back of his mind, he still felt that getting involved with Anemone wouldn’t be such a bad thing. He liked her after all.
“You’re sexy.” He stated simply, a grin curving the corners of his lips. It was the truth - Large bright eyes, long hair, long legs, beautiful smile. Raiden couldn’t help but think that he had struck gold with Anemone.
“C’mon brat.” He taunted lightly and gestured for her to follow.
Raiden walked around the corner of their hiding place and to the table they had been sat at earlier. He still felt pretty tired, but not as restless as he had been the night and day before. He wondered if it was because he’d had some action with Anemone. One kiss from her would be enough to satisfy him. But not quite. He’s still a guy after all.
Grabbing the book he had disposed on the floor earlier, he turned and handed it to Anemone. “Be a good girl and do your homework.” He grinned toothily, clearly enjoying teasing the student.

Anemone felt liked she'd scored a point. Raiden's fingers digging to her top were a sure giveaway that she'd found a spot on his neck that was sensitive. She'd have to remember that, in case the oppertunity to use it ever arose again. She was most probable. Anemone had a funny feeling that the 'taking things slow' agreement wouldn't last that long. After all - he had needs which would need satisfying at some point. And she was eighteen, inexperienced and annoyingly curious.
He retreated a little and seemed to just observe her for the moment. Anemone suddenly felt mildly self concious, aware she was still glowing. It felt... odd, being looked at like that, it wasn't something she was used to. It wasn't something she disliked, but it was different. He stated he thought she was sexy and the glow increased. Anemone grinned awkwardly, and rubbed the back fo her neck, "oh.. well - I don't know about that."
"Brat?" Anemone repeated, following Raiden as he summoned her after him, her previous awkwardness forgotten. "How am I a brat?" She watched as he scooped the book this had all started over up from the floor and held it out to her. He was teasing her. Again. Apparently Raiden liked to play games. Anemone surpressed a smirk. Well - she could play to. ... Or at least try.
She shrugged one shoulder and took the book he handed to her. "Personally, I'd rather do you." She smiled at him completely aware of the inferance in her statement, "but if you insist." She waved her free hand dismissively and crossed to the table where her homework had been left unattended. Hopping up onto the table, Anemone crossed her legs and opened the book beginning to flick through the pages.

“You’re younger than me and you have the ability to annoy the hell out of me a lot of the time.” Raiden explained, “Instant brat.”
He knew that she didn’t like to be called a brat. Not many people did. He decided then that he’d need to come up with a new nickname for her. Because that was what Raiden did, he nicknamed everyone. Half the time it was because he could never remember peoples names. But, yes, Anemone would need a new nickname.
A grin tugged at the corners of his lips when Anemone mentioned that she’d rather do him.
“I’m sure.” He said simply, amused by her attempts at trying to play a tease. She played it well. Very well, because after that comment all he wanted to do was take her back to his apartment. But it was Anemone who wanted to take it slow so her comment didn’t fool him.
Sitting down at the table, Raiden kicked his boots up to rest against the tables edge and rocked back onto the chairs hind legs. Linking his fingers together, he rested his hands across his stomach and closed his eyes.
He didn’t have anything better to do today. He was thinking about taking his bike out for a spin later, but at the moment he was still sleepy and since he’d lost his dorm key and couldn’t be assed getting the copy, he’d catch some more shut eye in the library. He would’ve continued on with playing with Anemone. Except he found it sort of hard to control himself when it came down to the brunette. It was probably better that he kept to himself for a little while, especially if she wanted to take things slow.
“Night-” He mumbled and then upon thinking of a nickname for Anemone, smiled to himself. “Nemo.”

"But that's part of my charm, surely." Anemone retorted playfully, glancing up from the pages of the book, pages she was now book marking for referance. "Annoying the Hell out of you. How else would I have got your attention?"
She watched as Raiden settled down in a shair, resting his feet against the table top. She rolled her eyes a little. If the librarian came in and saw him like that, she'd have kittens! But with Raiden's ear, he'd probably hear her coming before she was even in the corridor, so he could sort himself out and resist getting in trouble.
Anemone was feeling a lot calmer. Sitting at a different table. Not that Raiden made her uncomfortable, it was just having a ten foot gap made things a little easier on her, generally because Raiden was out of reach, so the temptation wasn't there.
Glancing down at her book, Anemone read and reread a paragraph several times, though the words weren't sinking in and the text was beginning to blur. It was starting to settle in that being eighteen had just become a lot more complicated. Deity Holders weren't meant to follow hormones or emotions. They had them; but they weren't supposed to act on them. Anemone had. She had in a big way, and now felt a gnawing feeling of concern that everyone would be able to tell when she returned home.
She didn't really know that the repercussions would be if her father found out. Probably the pit. Anemone had only been in there once before when she'd tried to drown her brother Fyran. It was a dark hole, several feet down, that once someone was in there, was covered over and the one being punished had to stay there until Yunka decided they could come out.
When Anemone had first been in there he'd kept her there for two days. The only thing that made it almost bareable was the fact Nona kept coming to check on her, despite strict instructions not to.
Rubbing her head, Anemone put her book to one side, feeling a little nauseous for a moment; her stomach tying in knots. She looked across at Raiden, who was already looking comfortable and managed a small grin. He'd be worth it.
"Nemo?!" Anemone repeated the name, trying to hide the distain. "Gods no. That's what my little sisters call me. Mea will be fine." She paused and dropped off the table. She crossed to Raiden, bored already by her work - he was far more interesting - and tugged a couple of his fingers with her own. "Wouldn't you be more comfortable on one of the sofas?"

“Well if you’d prefer brat..” He trailed off, eyes still closed, giving Anemone an ultimatum. Brat or Nemo. He’d only thought of the nickname Nemo because one - the name Nemo was in the middle of her actual name and two - Finding Nemo, a film he had seen - (not by choice, Ella had made him as punishment. It was sort of hard to say no to her when she hypnotises you into doing something.) The fish, Nemo lived in the ocean. Anemone reminded Raiden of the ocean.
“I’d be more comfortable in my bed.” He quipped and cracked open eye to look up at Anemone when she took a hold of his fingers. The Hanyou half grinned, laced his fingers through Anemones and tugged her forward so that she spilled into his lap. His chairs legs fell onto all fours with a heavy thud.
“This is better.” He mumbled through a yawn and after shifting Anemone into a more comfortable position, he wrapped his arms around her waist - linking his fingers together to hold her in place - and closed his eyes again.
Her body warmth was comforting and her scent, relaxing. Raiden would be asleep before he knew it.

Anemone treated Raiden to a half-hearted glare. "I don't know which one would be worse to be honest." That wasn't true. She did - brat would be a lot worse and would get on her nerves a lot. But Nemo wasn't that much better, considering Andromeda and Attina both squealed it whenever they saw her.
Though somehow she doubted Raiden would ever squeal - so maybe it wouldn't be as bad.
She managed to surpress a squeak as Raiden practically pulled her into his lap, and then puppeteered how she sat. A little disorientated, her arms went up around his neck automatically, as she was figuratively trapped for the time being by his arms and hands. She watched as he closed his eyes again, and leaned forward, resting her temple against his, rubbing the bridge of her nose against his. He seemed relaxed, so that was good.
"We could always go back to your apartment if you wanted." Anemone murmured, dipping her head and kissing the corner of Raiden's mouth, "we don't have to do anything. But if it would be nicer for you...?" She left the suggestion open and smiled a little, shifting again and nuzzling against his neck.

Raiden groaned disapproval at Anemone’s suggestion. He didn’t want to move. Having Anemone curled in his arms, body warm and offering him comfort with gentle nuzzles made it hard to want to do anything but fall asleep.
But he knew that going back to his apartment was a good idea. And if Anemone came with him then even better. At least they’d have privacy. Here he couldn’t completely relax because his ears were on high alert, listening out for anyone approaching, which sort of made it hard for him to actually fall asleep.
“Okay.” His voice dragged out through a sigh and he reluctantly blinked open his eyes. When he rose to a stand he lifted Anemone with him, placing her down on her feet when he was stood up right. Hands still on her waist, he leaned in and brushed his lips against her own in a brief kiss.
“Meet me outside the school gates.” He winked down at Anemone, a grin on his face and slipped away, pocketing his hands as he strolled his way out of the library.
It was best that they didn’t leave the library together. It would look less suspicious if Anemone followed a few minutes behind and it’d give him time to prep his motorbike. __
