Name: Lilly Isabella Beaumont
Alias: Charlize Deluca,
Age: 17
Birthday: September 21st
Race: Meta human/Demon
Hometown: Saint-Benoit du sault, France.
Grade: 12th
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Straight
Appearance: Charlize stands at a square 5'3" and has a rather petite and slim build that totally belies the inhuman strength she possesses.
Charlize did not inherit claws, a tail, fangs or canine fur from her father. However her ears are slightly pointed and the ends are covered in a snowy white fur. The colour of her hair is something Charlize tends to change. At one point it had been a bubble gum pink and at another it had been a colbalt blue. At the moment it is at its natural colour, white and accents the light bronze tint of her skin.
Normally Charlize will leave her hair down or have it pulled back into one or two french braids.
Her eyes are a shade of hazel/amber and in the light shine a brilliant gold.
Charlize tends to wear anything she feels comfortable in, which varies depending on the weather. A pair of hip-hugging jeans and a shirt, usually one with some rude qoute or illustration on it, is all she needs. She wears two silver bands on her left thumb and one ring on her right little finger. Her nails are normally painted either a black or a dark blue. Though most times she has them bare.

Personality: On first impressions Charlize appears confident, carefree, flirtacious (and she won't do much hide this little fact,) wild and a little sarcastic. This is all true.
Though at times in an attempt to hide her insecurities she will, on a subconcious level, play on her traits to make it seem that she is perfectly capable of handling herself, her life and her problems on her own.
Because she often hides behind a mask of barely there independance and promiscuity, people often misunderstand Charlize. This annoys her because people only see what they want to see. They see a bright, attractive, colourful cover, but the book is so thick that they don't bother to read past the first page.
Though Charlize only has her self to blame. People don't see past the first pages because she won't let them out of fear that if she lets people in, she will eventually end up losing them/have her heartbroken and end up in even more pain.
Despite her fears of losing people. Charlize's philosophy on life is that it is too short to be caught up in regret, hate, lies and suffering. And although she herself doesn't quite follow this philosophy where it concerns her fears on losing loved ones, she attemps to follow it in every other area of her life.
This train of thought has helped her through tough times and she will often remind herself if she feels herself getting down and depressed that 'Crap happens. Live in the present not in the past.'
Charlize, like every other person on the planet is full of insecurities, though she doesn't like to let them show and makes a conscience effort to be up-beat and optimistic rather than low and depressing.
One of her downfalls is her temper, when angry or stung and upset she can act immature and rash. She often loses her anger due to her short patience and because of her short patience she is a little too impulsive. This effects her teamwork also. Not realising there is no 'I' in team she will rush into a situation, no matter how dangerous, without thinking or a plan.
Another downfall is her (inappropriate at times) flirting and late night partying which has landed her in hot water on many accounts. Because of this she now she makes a consciene effort to be less of a raving pervert.
Over all, despite her flaws and insecurities Charlize is a compassionate person with a kind albeit fragile heart who is more than willing to befriend anyone.
Greatest Fear: Emotional fear rules a large part of Charlize's state of mind and because of this it affects her attitude towards people. Throughout her life Charlize has lost or has been separated from the people she cares about and loves. Because of this she fears being alone, however her fear of losing a loved one(s) is far greater.
The above fears tie in with her fear of being emotionally intimate with another person which hinders her relationships with men as she is too afraid to let them all the way in.
Another of her specific fears is being closed up in tight spaces. Her smaller fears are things such as, fish. Fish creep her out and clowns.
Most Important Secret: Her ability to heal.
Character Background: Charlize was born and raised in France until the age of five. Having not known her father Charlize grew up with only her mother, Isabelle and older brother, Dusk.
Her mother fell sick when Charlize had been five and then passed away a year later. Because of this Charlize and Dusk were taken into care. Though because they weren't human many orphanages wouldn't take them. They were eventually taken into care and during this time Charlize found herself the subject of mean children and cruel adults who despised the ground she and her brother walked on. Dusk often stood up for and protected his little sister. Most nights Charlize would cry, not because she was bullied. But because she missed her home, missed her mother.
It was a year before they were adopted. Eventually they were taken in by a man named, Maddox. An american gambler who planned on making a profit off of the children by having them fight in illegal underground fighting rings. Of course they hadn't known that, Maddox played the part of caring husband; who wished for children as his wife could not conceive, down to a T.
Despite the fact that Maddox hadn't had all of the correct papers for the adoption or that Charlize and Dusk couldn't speak strong english, they were still given over to him.
Maddox had been kind, luring the siblings in with caring smiles and a false sense of security and trust. But once they had reached america he changed instantly. His true colours shining through.
Maddox had Charlize and Dusk tested to see what they could do with their abilities. It was first believed that Charlize had no meta-human abilities, which only angered Maddox. Dusk however was strong, fast and everything Maddox wanted in a fighter.
It was on the night Charlize last saw Dusk that it became clear she had powers. Raiden had returned seriously injured from a series of fights and Maddox, angry that Raiden had lost the last match decided to leave him unattended as punishment. Dusk had been injured to the point of what seemed like death and so when Charlize had cried over his body her power to heal activated. However her power to heal had a serious backlash.
Once Dusk had been healed Charlize fell into a death-like coma for over ten hours. To everyone else she appeared to be dead and so she was taken to the morgue.
Though Charlize can remember her past life, her mother and her brother, she can't remember much before healing her brother and being taken into care again after stumbling her way out of the morgue. She remained unaware of her power to heal.
Charlize spent many sleepless nights at her new orphanage wondering about her brother. About where he was and how they were seperated. She often wondered if he was thinking of her too.
Charlize spent four years at the orphanage, where she picked up on her english relatively fast and got along with a few of the other kids, though at times it seemed clear she was an outcast. Because of this and her past experiences she grew up with mixed, confused and angry feelings and would constantly run away from the orphanage, returning in the end as she had no where warm to sleep and no food to eat.
It was a human woman that had adopted her at 12. A woman named Emilia who had always wanted a daughter. By this time Charlize had come into her canine demon abilities.
To begin with Charlize didn't fit in with Emilia, her five sons and the new life she had been given. After her experiences at her first orphanage and after being betrayed by Maddox, she found it very hard to trust other people. Especially humans.
Charlize would often rebel and lash out. She was loud, rude, aggressive and was always doing something she shouldn't. At school she behaved just as bad if not worse. She constantly started fights, got detention, bunked and damaged school property. She had moved school five times before Emilia decided to have her home schooled.
Though Charlize often acted out angrily, Emilia understood that beneath the anger was a frightened girl with a fragile heart. Eventually, as time passed under the patience, care and love of Emilia, Charlize calmed down and matured.
Emilia fell sick when Charlize turned 15 and was told that she didn't have long to live. Emilia's eldest son blamed it on Charlize, describing her as a "Trouble making, good for nothing freak." Charlize had broken his nose for that comment and did her best to ignore it, though it still worked at her conscience. Charlize knew that she been more trouble than she was worth and that she had put Emilia under a lot of stress and grief.
Unable to handle the guilt and unable to watch Emilia slip away into nothing, Charlize ran away. Running away was much more easy than having to carry the pain of having lost another person she cared about from her life.
Charlize worked odd jobs and stayed in a one room flat over a bar that belonged to an old man named Tank. It was a bar mainly populated by meta-humans and demons. Tank let her stay as long as she helped out in the bar and took care of his dog (He never had the chance to walk him and rarely had the chance to play with him either.)
Below the bar, underground fights took place. Though no one was forced to fight and children weren't permitted, it was still illegal and was kept secret.
It was whilst she was at the bar that she decided to go by the name 'Charlize' and would participate in matches to earn extra cash. This broadened her fighting skills and helped her strength and speed to grow.
It was at 16 Charlize had again come across her dormant ability to heal. Tank had attempted to break up a fight in his bar and because of this ended up being shot in the shoulder. He immediately passed out from the pain. It was when Charlize had panicked, her hands crushed up against his wound to stop the blood flowing out, that a golden light had engulfed the pair. The light faded as quick as it had appeared and Tank blinked and sat up slowly without a fresh wound in sight.
The same moment the light had faded an agonizing pain had ripped through Charlize's shoulder and she winced believing that she too had been shot. However there was no wound or blood. The pain ebbed away within hours and Charlize dismissed it.
It was only on Emilia's deathbed that Charlize came to learn that her ability to heal another person came with serious consequences. An attempt to heal Emilia had put Charlize into an 18 hour death-like coma.
When Charlize woke again her memory of healing Emilia and the events around the healing were again blurred.
Emilia did not tell Charlize that her illness could not be healed. Though Emilia was sure Charlize knew on some level that what was happening to her was natural and that it was her time. It could not be undone.
Instead Emilia told Charlize of a place that would not only be safe for her, but would no doubt have the answers to questions she herself could not answer.
Kosaka Haven.
Powers:
Demon - Charlize's father is a Dog demon. Though Charlize did not inherit alot of her fathers abilities unlike her brother. Her senses of course surpass those of an average human. Her hearing, sight, smell and even taste are heightened.
Though it is her strength and speed that are her most prominent abilities. Charlize has the strength of eight men and can move faster than 70 MPH (As fast as a car/Cheetah).
Sight - she is able to see in the dark and is able to pick up on things that move faster than the human eye can see.
Hearing - she is able to detect subtle sounds and because her hearing is much stronger than her sight she will rely on this if caught in a tight situation, i.e. hunting down someone/something/ stuck in a dark area such as a forest, surrounded by her enemy.
Smell - Her sense of smell is up to 80 per cent more sensitive than a humans. It is below the average smell of a dog-demon and still a little below that of a normal wolf. Though Charlize has found that she is able to pick up on the pheromones that people produce. This allows her to see, or rather smell who is attracted to who. However this isn't something she takes much of an interest in unless it works to her advantage or she is just being plain nosy.
Taste - Her sense of taste is heightened beyond that of a normal humans though it is still the weakest of her all her senses. Charlize isn't keen on foods that are already strong in flavour such as a chilli's or mints. Though her heightened sense of taste could be one of the reasons she has the appetite of an elephant.
Also because of Charlize is part demon she has a very high pain threshold which allows her to take and bare a certain amount of physical pain. More than a normal human can. This helps whenever she is fighting a tough opponent. Still her pain threshold is not as high as that of a normal dog demon.
When injured Charlize is unable to regenerate, though her injuries tend to heal faster than those of a normal human, they heal on a little faster.
Strength - As stated before Charlize has the power of eight men (that are at their own height of strength.) At the moment she is unaware and unable to channel her strength to one point of her body (I.e her fist) in order to cause more damage.
Meta-human - Charlize's mother was a meta-human and had possessed two powers, Empathy and Telepathy. Charlize has developed what could be described as empathy. Though her ability only allows her to heal the physical injuries of another person and has some serious consequences.
Charlize is able to heal at a high level. A level way beyond her experience. She is able to heal a physical wound, no matter how serious it is and take away the pain. However the pain that she takes from the injured becomes her own.
To begin with Charlize could not activate this power on her own. It activated in reaction to her heightened emotions whenever she feared for the life of someone else who appeared to be injured.
However she is able to activate this ability freely though not because she wants to, because this power makes itself known. Whenever she is near an injured person a feeling of guilt goes off inside her head like an alarm, signalling that someone needs help.
However for this to happen a person must be seriously injured and in an unbearable amount of pain. They also must be in close proximity. If she does not heal them then she is left with nothing but depressing thoughts, as though her empathy is punishing her.
This however is not the case. Charlize's empathy is quite beyond her experience. It is a fully developed power that belongs only to the most experienced of empaths and healers, because of this it is unstable under her command. It is not something that should have developed so quickly. This is why she feels the guilt and depression when near an injured person.
Though she is able to heal the seriously injured she is not able to revive the dead or heal a person who is dying a natural death. (Though it is possible to give that person extra time. However this comes at great cost to the healer)
It is also incredibily dangerous to heal a person who is close to death, though it is not impossible. Healing a heavily injured person will put her into a coma. Healing a person that lies on the brink of death will put her into a death-like coma, where it appears that she is dead. Her bodily functions stop for hours on end and eventually startup again. It is unaware what happens to Charlize's state of mind/spirit/soul when this happens.
Skills: Excellent street fighter, has a knack for reading people, flirting, picking up on languages, good at organizing/planning events and is quite creative.
On the other hand she is very poor at cooking though seems to be under the delusion that she is some kind of super chef and will often make food that no one wants to eat. Also she isn't book smart, mostly due to the fact that she missed out on so much schooling. Charlize finds it easier to pick things up by doing.

The woman sat behind the counter of the nurse's station paused in her writing and ever-so-slowly lifted her head. “I beg your pardon?”
“I need some drugs.” Charlize stated firmly, her lips pulled into a thin line. “I can’t sleep. You need to give me something.” It was more of a demand than a request. Because she felt that she might just go crazy if she didn’t get some d**n shut eye soon.
Really, she couldn’t think what the hell was wrong with her but as of late she just could not sleep. It was beginning to irritate her because now, she felt she had no energy what so-ever. Which was saying something considering the amount of energy she normally had.
“I’ve been to the city, to the pharmacists, they won’t give me anything.” She ranted on, clearly annoyed. “Apparently you have to be like what?.. 22 and if you’re not you need parental consent. I mean what sort of bull-”
The woman coughed purposefully and lifted both of her brows, her gaze darkening. “How old are you?”
“Does it matter?” Charlize replied exasperated.
“Well yes, I think you’ll find it does.” The elderly woman replied primly. “I cannot by law provide you with a prescription drug if you are not of age.” She explained, “Furthermore, I cannot just give you medication. Even if you were old enough. Which I am more than sure you. Are. Not.”
"Can't we just come to some sort of understanding?" Charlize attempted lamely. Too tired, both mentally and phsyically to argue with the nurse.
"I cannot by law provide you with a prescription drug. If. You. Are. Not. Of. Age."
This woman was asking for it. 'What the hell is with the attitude'
“Are you kidding?!” The blue haired girl snapped. She had already had this arguement four times over in the city, and was starting to lose her temper. She thought she'd at least be able to get some kind of help here. “I can’t sleep! Just give me something!”
“Do not raise your voice at me!”
Charlize pursed her lips tightly and then dropped her head into her hands. Her fingers massaging her temples. This was ridiculous. Wasn’t this school supposed to help you if you’re sick or in need?
A long, drawn out sigh passed her lips.
“Listen.. “ Charlize started, her eyes gazing over the woman’s name badge. “..Mindy.” She smiled a little too sweetly and leaned forward so that her arms were rested on top of the counter. “I need help.” She whispered tightly. “I can’t sleep, okay? It is. Driving. Me. Insane.”
“I am going to suggest that you see a psychologist.” Mindy brushed her off, uncaring and went back to what she had been doing earlier, writing.
Charlize stared hard at the woman behind the desk, her expression torn between disbelief and anger. ‘Oh c’mon..’
“I’m nearly 18.”
“No.”
“I’ll pay you-”
“No.”
“Please-”
“No.”
“Can’t we just -”
“No.”
“Look-”
“No!”
‘Geez.. This hag won’t budge.’
“I already asked a professor, they gave me permission.” Charlize said finally and watched as the nurse paused in her writing once more and met eye to eye with Charlize.
“Which professor?” She questioned.
“Huh?” Charlize replied dumbly. She wasn’t entirely sure why she had thought that this nurse would fall for that lie. But she wasn't thinking straight and was getting pretty desperate at this point.
“You said you asked a professor. Which one was it?”
“You need to know?”
“Of course. I’ll need to confirm it.”
“Well.. You know.. Professor..” Charlize wracked her brain but couldn’t think of a single professor who would actually lie for her so that she could get some medication. It would no doubt land her in trouble. "The headmaster."
"Okay, I'll just give him a-"
“Look. Just give me the drugs!” Charlize cut in sharply, she was practically seething now. Too tired and annoyed to keep control of her anger.
The elderly woman smirked lightly and then held up a hand to stop the rant Charlize was about to break into, when the phone rang. “Hello Kosaka Academy, Nurses Office, Mindy speaking how may I help you?”
Folding her arms across her chest, Charlize flat out glared at the evil nurse as she covered the end of the receiver.
“I’m going to have to ask you to leave.”

“Drugs.”The woman sat behind the counter of the nurse's station paused in her writing and ever-so-slowly lifted her head.
