Charlize hauled herself up out of the water and moved so that she was sat on the pools edge, her legs still submerged beneath the surface. Once she was sat comfortably she pushed back her wait hair so that it was plastered back against her head and then began to dry off her fury ears a little. Because there was nothing more irritating than having wet, waterlogged ears.
“Mm. What to do today..” She wondered out loud and leaned back onto to the palms of her hands. Her legs kicked back and forth in the warm water, creating ripples across the surface. If she were to kick any harder she’d be creating splashes. But that was no fun unless you had someone to splash.
Across the large pool she could see a kid running along the waters surface whilst another attempted to chase after him by swimming. The kid running along the surface would stop, point and laugh at his friend before carrying on with his running.
It was still early morning yet so the pool wasn’t over crowded with bodies. There were two or three people doing laps and a group of kids splashing around at the other end, but other than that it was relatively calm and quiet.
Charlize had been doing laps herself and had done twenty so far before she decided to take a break. Which was why she was currently sat on the poolside, her golden eyes surveying the activities of the other swimmers.
A snort sounded from the 17 year old when the boy who been running along the waters surface had been caught around the waist by an invisible force. He stumbled forward and rolled onto the waters surface before losing his concentration completely and sinking in. The figure that had tackled him materialised at his side and dunked his head beneath the water playfully, the other two kids giggling and laughing along with him.

((Assuming school has been in session and Donovan is acquainted with Charlize.))
Donovan had arrived early at the pool that morning to get back into the habit of swimming in the mornings. He had never been a particularly good swimmer, but he knew how to swim across the pool and was definately water safe. The junior flipped his goggles up, letting the water out that had seeped in after his last lap. He had only completed about ten times across the pool, rather pathetic considering he used to swim on a regular basis when he lived in Arizona.
The teenager quickly spotted a girl he had seen before around the campus. Although a good portion of students were meta-human and actually looked no different than other human beings, a few stood out in Donovan's mind as looking different. Not that he minded; on the contrary, he thought it was rather refreshing to be around people who accepted those who were in the minority.
With a slight smile on his face, he pressed the lightly tinted goggles back onto his eyes, submerged himself under the water and swam over towards the girl, for once glad neither of the Verity twins had decided to tag along. In a matter of seconds, he popped his head out of the water about three feet away from where the girl was sitting.
"Hey, nice to see you around the pool." He nodded towards Charlize and flipped his goggles off of his eyes.

Charlize hadn’t been aware that one of her roommates was in the pool and grinned when his head popped up out of the water. “Hey, roomie.” she greeted and moved to lean forward so that her hands were rested on the edge of the pool.
“Yeah. I thought I’d try the pool out.” She explained with a gentle shrug. The pool had been the only place at Kosaka Haven that she hadn’t been to since she had arrived at the school two months ago.
“So, what’s up?” She questioned, looking to the boy in the water.
Despite them sharing a dorm, Charlize hadn’t really spoken or gotten to know either of her roommates. She had meant to initially. After all she wanted to know the people she lived with. But she had spent so much time getting to know people, checking out the island and generally having fun that she rarely spent any time in her dorm room at all.

(( I checked and they are in the same dorm! xD Oopsie. So technically they'd sort of know each other, right? ))

((Oops... they'd probably be acquainted at least then.))
Donovan blinked a couple of times, letting the water drip off of his hair and into the pool, causing little ripples to be made; it was nothing in comparison to the smaller waves he made while treading water, as he had moved back a short distance away from the wall. He knew he needed the exercise. He had arrived a bit after Charlize had to the island and to the school; summer camp had not ended until after the school opened up to the students, but classes still had not started at that point, so he was fine.
"The pool's nice." He smiled. Despite the fact that the pool was indoors and that he had only been to an indoor pool a few times before, the facility did not smell of the tell-tale bleach that most swimmers referred to as chlorine. "But I haven't been off the campus much yet." Donovan nodded over to where his belongings sat; one of the borrowed white towels with blue stripes on it draped over his wheelchair.
Donovan had not been in his dormitory room much after unpacking his things, either. He had helped both the Verity girls move into their dormitories and after that, he had gone exploring and had met several of the other students and more than one professor.

Rokagi rarely worked out and exercised since he arrived on Earth and was starting to wonder if the humans had any gyms around Kosaka. He had been at the haven for a few days know and only meeting two people. Abigail and her stuffed bunny bun-bun and the young-ish boy with her. He needed to train and keep fit so Rokagi looked around for anyway to exercise. He managed to find a pool thanks to the help of one of the janitors he seen in the lobby. He thanked them for showing him where the pool was and went back to his dorm to get his swim ware, which he brought from the city not long after he joined Kosaka and saw the beach there.
He arrived at the pool expecting not to many people to be there since it was early-ish in the morning. Rokagi wasn't to far wrong either. Not to many people where there. He got into the dressing rooms and quickly changed, eager to get swimming. He finds this sport fun. Rokagi walked around the side of the pool after deposing of his clothes into a locker and looked for a good place to dive. He found a place not to fair into the swallow waters but swallow enough to get out easily in case of emergency.
Rokagi bent his legs, ready to make his dive and jumped into the water, sending out a few small waves around him, splashing a couple of people around him without meaning too. He thought to himself "i must really be outta shape. i can't even make a simple dive." He swam over to the people he just splashed, being careful not to do so again and made his apology. "Sorry about that. Won't happen again."

Donovan was pushed over a few feet by the wave that had been caused by the diver, but being a decent swimmer, he chuckled and paddled back over. Nearly anyone growing up in either Arizona or southern California would have learned how to either swim or at least be safe around the water from a young age and Donovan was no exception. The high school junior enjoyed being in the water.
"No worries, though it's probably not the greatest idea to dive in the shallow end," Donovan's voice was light, but he knew the damage that hitting the bottom of the pool in dive could cause. At the very least, it could cause some very scratched up arms and legs... or if you were less fortunate, a broken neck depending on the circumstances. However, the area of the pool he was treading water in was easily a meter and a half deep (approximately five feet), so a shallow diver could dive safely. "Hey, I'm Donovan. And you are...?" He would have extended a hand, but he did not trust his ability to tread water with only one arm.

Rokagi answered Donovan as he paddled his legs to push him closer to the edge of the pool. "My names Rokagi, its been a while since i was last in a pool". He explained about his seemingly poor swimming ability. He got to the edge and turned around so his back was to it. As he lent on the edge the water dripped of his hair and hit the water causing soft splashing sounds. His skin glistened because of the water and made him look even odder because of his skin. "Its nice to be back in a pool. Been ages since my last time."
Rokagi looked straight at Donovan before turning his attention to the girl on the side next to him. "Hey, names Rokagi. good to meet you." He turned back to Donovan and smiled as he gently kicked his legs to keep his head above water.
