Anemone had never been on a motorcycle before. She'd seen them plenty as Kosaka had become more populated but never physically been on one. And now she wondered why. Raiden surprised her by being quite a careful driver, she had been a little wary after getting on the bike, thinking it may have been a ploy for him to try and throw her off and one point or another. But he hadn't. And actually being on the back on the machine had been an exhilarating experience. So much speed! And air! Now she knew why Forchet like to do nose dives from cliff-tops. The rush you got from the wind in your face... though of course this was somewhat lessened by the helmet.
Once they'd arrived, Anemone dismounted, and found her legs a little less that sturdy on the ground. She steadied herself a bit leaning on the bike, and once she felt she'd found her feet, removed the helmet, holding it loosely under one arm while she tidied her hair a little, as it have become mussed rather spectacularly in the head gear.
Anemone smiled instantly when she heard a seabird squawking over head. Sounds hit her ears, and she relaxed completely. There was nothing better than this. Being at home, by the ocean, with a wide open space in front of her. She could forget everything and anything that was bothering her as soon as she set foot on the sand. This was her haven, no matter what the school called itself.
Turning quickly, she placed the helmet on the back of the bike and started to unzip her boots, pulling them off and leaving them by the bike also. She turned to Raiden and grinned a little. "Thank you for the ride." She meant it, though she didn't know if Raiden would believe she did or not. After all, she had called him an arrogant butt head only a little while ago. She grinned sheepishly to herself to think of that, and attempted to make a friendly suggestion.
"I don't suppose you'd like to stay here for a little while? I won't talk much... promise." She tilted her head to one side, "plus I could show you somewhere no one else ever goes. Its a little cove about ten minutes away, its a bit tricky to get to, but worth it, and no one else ever really goes there, so it could be your spot if you wanted. To go to and sit and be, whenever you feel like it."

Raiden enjoyed the feeling of the wind washing over his skin as they weaved in and out of the slower moving cars. He had given his helmet to Anemone, as he wasn’t about to let her hop onto his bike without wearing one. (He could drive his bike well but accidents happen.) and so he was able to enjoy the cold rush of air that cooled and relaxed him.
He would have been more relaxed however if he weren’t sat in such an uncomfortable position. He wanted to lean forward, to rest his torso against the bike. He couldn’t though, not without making Anemone lose the grip she had on his shoulders. So he stayed up right.
They were already racing down the streets and the beach wasn’t too far away, so he didn’t think there was much point in stopping to tell her that it’d be much safer for her and more comfortable for him if she were to put her arms around his waist. Instead he took more care and caution whilst driving to their destination.
Raiden slowed to a stop as they arrived at their destination. He remained straddled on his bike, one foot rested on a peddle with his engine still running as Anemone clambered off.
He watched her play with her hair for a moment and then turned his attention to the sky for a brief moment before he dropped his gaze to stare across what little he could see, (in his current position) of the beach.
It didn’t seem overly populated today. Though he couldn’t see the entire beach so he couldn’t be sure.
Glancing at Anemone and then to the small monitors on his bike he hummed an acknowledgment at her apology - and then lifted his bike so that it was no longer rested at a slant, ready to set off.
Anemone seemed to have other ideas though. Ideas that involved the two of them.
That was a surprise. He wouldn’t have thought that the younger girl would want to spend time with him, not after how things had gone at the school earlier. He had been a bit of an ass as per usual and he had gotten the distinct impression (by the names she had called him) that she wasn’t too fond of him.
But now it appeared she had changed her mind… or maybe she wanted to have another go at annoying him, he wasn’t sure.
This girl really did confuse him. A barely audible sigh passed parted lips and a moment later the quiet hum of the bike’s engine fell silent.
If anyone were to ask Raiden what had possessed him to climb off of his bike and allow Anemone to show him this secret cove, he would’ve told them that it was out of pure curiosity.
Well.. He wouldn’t have.
He would’ve glared silently at them until they realised that they weren’t going to get an answer out of him.
The ‘out of curiosity’ part was the excuse he was relying on. No, it wasn’t an excuse. It was an actual reason. Yes, he was curious. The hopeful glimmer in her eyes or the way she had stood up to him and called him a butt head earlier had nothing to do with it.
Nothing at all.

Anemone had fully expected Raiden to ignore her words, to rev the engine and turn tail and leave her standing there faced with a cloud of dust and sand. Her suggestion had been hopeful, but she wasn't especially expectant of him coming through, and actually taking her up on her suggestion. So when he caused the egine to cut out and actually got off his bike she was surprised, and while she tried, couldn't hide her overly happpy smile which completely took over her face.
"Hard to resist, right?" She didn't expect an answer. She always knew how hard it was to resist the ocean. It was a constant call for her and for Fossu, so her next visit was rarely far from her mind. And the ocean affected different people different ways. Some weren't fussed, and went when the weather called for it and they were forced. Some were on the beach every day, though these people were mostly combing the shores hopefully with metal detectors. Some people, perhaps Raiden was onee of them, came down when the beach was almost deserted, so they wouldn't be disturbed. And provided there were few people around, would spend a whole day just sitting and watching the tide roll in and out.
Clearing her throat a little, Anemone went about distracting herself as not to make a big deal about his acceptance to join her. She unbuckled her half-leggings from her hotpants, and removed them from her legs, leaving them with her boots by the bike. Once she felt ready, she stretched and eyed the bike.
"It should be okay here. There's not a lot of crime that happens down on the beach... not this time of day at least, so you can probably leave anything you don't want to take with you here." She explained and then turned, stepping off the tarmac and onto the sand. "Uhm..." she rocked back on her heels for a moment, looking over her shoulder, "I always paddle when I'm walking, so I'll go wait for you in the surf, okay." She smiled again and took off, crossing the short distance between herself and the water in a few seconds.
Where most people would have felt a chill rush up their body as they stepped into the water, Anemone felt a warm kind of contentment she only got from open water. The pool at Kosaka was fine for day-to-day water needs, but nothing beat a lake, or lagoon. And nothing ever compared to the open ocean. She breathed happily and deeply, absorbing the salt air as she waded in until the water came permenantly up to her ankles. Once satisfied, she turned and waited quietly for Raiden to follow.

Raiden had been a little taken back by the happy grin that had appeared across Anemone’s face. What was she so happy about?
He watched silently as she stripped off her leggings. Revealing her long legs and the strange blue marks that adorned them. It was then he realised that she was in fact covered in the peculiar patterns. Her arms, her legs, her face.
He wondered vaguely if they were tattoos, though highly doubted they were. Anemone didn’t seem like the type of girl who’d go out and get her entire body tattooed. Maybe they were henna? Or maybe they were natural. It wouldn’t surprise him if they were.
He shifted his gaze all of a sudden because he had been staring a little longer than he should have and although it had only been in mild curiosity, he didn’t want her thinking he was some kind of lecher.
And then she was moving and he stared after her retreating form a frown creasing his forehead. What on earth was he doing? ‘Exploring’ with a student. He didn't spend time along with his colleagues let alone students.
He should just leave now.
Anemone would understand.
He should just jump onto his bike and set off back to the school..
Back to all of those annoying children..
‘…’
On second thought, exploring sounded much more appealing. This way he was only in the company of one annoying student. He could handle one student.
With that in mind, he kicked off his boots. Because there was nothing more annoying then getting sand in your boots. And then began to tug the black shirt over his head so that he was left in only his white wife-beater and his black jeans. The weather was warm and he had already found himself getting exceedingly hot back at the school, so there was no need to wear two shirts.
Crouching down he placed his boots neatly besides Anemone and stuffed his socks into one of them. When he came to stand again, he surveyed the area with mild caution. There weren’t many people around.
He wasn’t afraid of his boots being stolen, because honestly - who the hell would steal someone’s dirty boots? He also wasn’t overly worried about leaving his bike. He often left it here when he came to the beach.
Besides if anyone were to take his bike he could always attempt to track them down and cause some serious bodily harm.
-
Once he had checked over their belongings and had pocketed his keys, he made his way onto the beach. The beach was as quiet as he thought it would be. Just the way he liked it. Quiet and peaceful.
The beach happened to be one of Raiden’s favourite places to relax. As long as it wasn’t over crowded that is. Today would be a good day for relaxing.
He shuffled along the beach, enjoying the feeling of the sand, soft and warm, beneath his feet and in-between his toes.
Anemone was already stood in the shores of the water, waiting patiently for him. It was strange, how much she looked as though she belonged there. With the water that is. He re-called her sent and how it had been strong and fresh like the Ocean and it made him wonder what she was exactly.
Maybe a mermaid?
Or some kind of water sprite?
And he was thinking too much again. He wasn't all that interested in what species Anemone was. Not at all. He shook his head lightly as he came to a halt at the shores of the ocean. The water lapped up slowly, touching the tips of his toes before withdrawing again.
Raiden waited for her next move, hands in his pockets.

Anemone remained waiting patiently with her back towards the horizon, watching Raiden as he went through some of his own preparations before he ventured any closer. He had taken some time. Anemone was willing to bet he was considering leaving the whole time, so was pleased and happy that he had opted not to. At least the sign of him removing his shoes made her think he wasn't about to.
"He's interesting." Anemone murmured, speaking audibly to Fossu, who being inside of her was forced to see everything she saw.
You like him?
"I'm not sure yet." Anemone replied shrugging. "He's a bit of an enigma. I think I'd like to get to know him better. If he'll let me."
If he'll let you?
"Hmm, if he'll let me." She fell silent, noting that he was beginning to approach, trudging through the sand. As he made his way over Anemone noticed something she hadn't before, that he'd removed an item of clothing. While he wasn't topless, it was less than before, and for some reason this caused a mild reaction of blushing and Anemone decided distracting herself by kicking the water was the best thing to do.
Once she felt a little less inclined to go red, she lifted her gaze, to find him standing at the water's edge. He seemed a little reluctant to actually go in the water, but at least he was actually on the beach. Anemone had to be thankful for small mercies. He certainly looked like he was here begrudgingly. Hands in his pockets and a somewhat unreadable expression. It wasn't as if Anemone had forced him to take her... or even forced him to stay. It had been a friendly suggestion. But she decided not to take it to heart. Something told her this was probably very atypical behaviour for Raiden.
"Don't look too sour now." Anemone teased, trying to lighten his mood... though she wondered if this was about as lightened as he became. Quickly hopping out of the watter, she dashed behind him and gave him a small shove on his back into the start of the surf. "The water's not that scary." She followed, stopping a few centimetres away from his back where she was staring at his right shoulder blade.
He had a tattoo, or maybe it was a natural marking like hers... Nothing out of the ordinary, lots of people had tattoos and markings. Many people mistook her markings for tattoos. But this was one like she had never seen before. It looked... though she couldn't be sure, but it seemed at though it was glowing. Now she was more interested, and had her left hand flat against his back as she looked more closely. "That's... does it do that on it's own? Is it natural? I glow sometimes... but only if I'm full of endorphines." She squinted a little, trying to make out what the marking or tattoo was. hers were all random, but meant things to Deitives. This looked as though it had a specific shape, but Anemone couldn't tell what the shape was.
"What is it... some kind of... bird? Do you have more?"

Raiden hadn’t expected the shove and whilst it had been gentle it had still been strong enough to surprise him into stumbling further into the water. He had been about to turn around and offer Anemone an annoyed glare accompanied by a scowl, when he told himself that she hadn’t pushed him with the intention of annoying him. It had been harmless fun. His shoulders tensed a little when a second later he could feel the palm of Anemone’s hand pressed lightly against his back. She had spotted his tattoo and was now questioning him about it. He sighed. Why did she have to ask such difficult questions? Questions he couldn’t answer, because the answers she couldn’t know. “A phoenix..” he answered simply and then before she could continue on with her questions. Seriously she asked way too many. He turned in the shallows of the water so that his back was no longer to her front. “So..” he started a little awkward, his gaze staring off down one side of the beach, searching for something he couldn’t see. “..Where’s this cove?” He remained stood in the shallows of the water and lifted a hand to scratch at his cheek, smudging the dirt he had forgotten to clean off. He could feel the breeze tickle the hairs on his ears and became half tempted to close his eyes, the way he always did when relaxed and calm. The atmosphere was nice. Even with Anemone there. - ((Sorry for the lame post. ;- )

Could she consider this a break through? That he hadn't glared at her for shoving him. That he was actually taking the time to answer her question, and even though it was a simple answer, it was still and answer and it didn't sound overly annoyed with her.
This had to be a break through, did it? Maybe that was too stronger phrase, but it was a start.
"Its beautiful." Anemone murmured as he began to step away so she could no longer see the marking, "very decorative." She decided not to press the matter. It may not have been something he wanted to discuss, ever. Period.
He had turned and she was now facing him. Well... face to neck really. He seemed to be relaxing a little; which was good. That was why the beach was a good place. Especially when it was quiet. It was a nice, chilled out and calm environment. It seemed this had been a rather fine idea. She grinned a little as he rubbed his cheek, smudging the dirt he'd laid there earlier. It made her think of her ramble about Rambo... that must have thrown him.
"You still have crap on your face." Anemone stated, arching an eyebrow. Funny... close vicinity and she was surprisingly at ease with the whole thing. He seemed to be getting used to her, so this was a distinct change from before. She wasn't going to push it though. There was a purpose as to why she had tried to convince him to stay, and he reminded her of it.
"Oh! Right!" She grabbed his wrist and turned quickly, "its this way. There's a huge mount of rocks like ten minutes away, you can kind of see them in the distance. You have to climb over and down through them, but its worth it. Come on." She started to walk, pulling him behind her.

Raiden had allowed Anemone to tug him by the wrist for a whole minute before he pulled himself free from her light grip and pocketed his hands again. During that minute he had rubbed mercilessly at his cheek with the back of his hand until he decided that his face was clean of the dirt he had smudged there earlier.
The Hanyou remained silent as they strolled through the Oceans shores. He didn’t bother to head back up onto the beach, even though his wet jeans were a little on the irritating side. The water was keeping him cool and considering how hot the weather was, he knew that his jeans would dry out fast later on.
Everything was perfect. Well.. Almost. He still wasn’t entirely sure if he felt comfortable being here with Anemone. Wouldn’t it be frowned upon? A student and a professor spending time alone together out of school.
Raiden wasn’t one for caring about what other people thought of him. At all. If he did care, he wouldn’t be such a cold ass. But he couldn’t risk losing his job or having his cover blown. Ella would kill him. That or have him live the rest of his life under the impression that he was a cat. (She had already threatened him with that one.)
He knew that they weren’t doing anything wrong.. Just.. ‘hanging out’. Which.. was the problem, he realised. He didn’t really care what the other professors would think. He did however care that he had been put into the awkward situation where he had to spend time alone with someone.
Raiden didn’t ‘Hang out’ with anyone. He generally didn’t spend time alone with other people. Not unless he had to. But he had agreed to come along with Anemone,( why had he agreed?) and he wasn’t about to turn back now.
So instead to quell his uneasiness some, he placed a considerable amount of space between himself and the taller girl.
“Do you come to the beach often?” He questioned, his maroon eyes staring at an invisible something in the distance. He had an idea that yes, Anemone did come to the beach often but he was attempting to distract himself from his thoughts on being alone with a student and the silence wasn’t helping his attempts.

The walk was, as Anemone had expected silent, and Raiden didn't seem to want to make any attempt to make conversation. She didn't either. She had promised that she wouldn't talk much, and was trying to stick to it now as they made their way along the shoreline in the direction of the pile of rocks.
He'd allowed her to keep a gentle grip on him for what must have been a minute or two. Which, she was willing to guess, was probably a record for him to have someone he barely knew be in close contact. She wasn't surprised when he pulled himself away. In fact she was rather more surprised he hadn't done it sooner, so simply smiled quietly to herself, and slipped her own hands behind her back, gently clasping her own fingers behind her as she walked.
This was quite nice. The quietness of it all was something Anemone didn't tend to experience when she had someone else with her. Usually she would have wittering on like she actually had something important to say at the end of her ramble, when really she just didn't like silences that felt awkward. But this... this didn't feel awkward. It should have, after all, he was her senior - though by how much she didn't know - and also a professor. So this should have felt extremely weird and awkward; she couldn't figure out why it didn't. But didn't want to over analyse the situation like she often did. She simply decided to enjoy this for the moment, and think later.
When she heard him speak, she stopped and turned. She noticed the distance, maybe she'd been walking quickly. There seemed to be a fair gap. She turned back and approached, closing the gap slightly. "Excuse me, was that a question? Asked in a non-aggressive way?" she grinned, leaving her teasing, deciding it would be more worthwhile, and less likely to annoy him, if she just answered. "I come here all the time. I kind of have to, for my survival. I kind of suffocate if I'm not allowed near natural water for a while."
She considered adding Fossu into that reason, but believed that might be a little hard to swallow, a massive shark's spirit inhabiting her body, so didn't mention him... the less asked the better. "What about you? What do you do for fun, aside from work on your bike?" She stood and waiting, for him to answer and also for him to catch up with her. She was becoming aware that the tide was going to be out soon, and then it would come in. But for now, her urgency to want to see Fyran wasn't as over bearing at it usually was.

Raiden couldn’t help the small grin that tugged his lips out of their semi-permanent frown. He lowered his head at an angle, feeling almost embarrassed that he had allowed himself a smile and shrugged his shoulders lightly.
He couldn’t blame Anemone for her teasing this time because she was right and they both knew it. So far he hadn’t done or said much of anything to her that didn’t come with a complimentary glare or an irritated scowl.
Now that he thought about it, he had been a little unfair towards Anemone. She had been friendly towards him from the start and he’d immediately labelled her as another annoying student. And whilst she was a little annoying. He knew she wasn’t as annoying as he made her out to be.
Raiden lifted his head when Anemone had replied, his expression once again relatively impassive. Though there was a hint of curiosity mixed in somewhere.
So she needed the water to survive? Maybe she was a mermaid after all? The temptation to question about it further was there, but he chose not to. Instead he simply nodded his head and began their walk again. This time he remained by her side.
“I come here.” He replied, removing a hand from his pocket so that he could scratch at an ear. “..I like spending time outside. At the beach, walking my dog..” He trailed off into silence.
There were few things Raiden liked to do. He spent so much time working that he didn’t have the chance to do much else or explore any further into the things he might find interesting.
He realised that to a highschool girl he must sound incredibly boring. But he didn't care. It wasn't as though he had to impress her.
A comfortable silence fell between them again and Raiden could see that they were fast approaching the rocks Anemone had talked about.

Was that a smile? Anemone didn't know whether she'd seen one or not. The movement of his mmouth had been so fleeting she was unable to tell. And even if it had been a smile, had been been genuine, or simply sarcastic? She felt herself move a touch closer, stopping when he lifted his head, his expression back to what she was growing accustomed to seeing. Impassive. It was a smile... I'm sure of it. Anemone told herself, locking the information away for the moment, as that might help. Plus, if it had been a smile, it was a breakthrough, and one she wanted to keep in her mind for the moment.
Her question must not have annoyed him, as he seemed fairly content to answer as he came up to her side and they started walking again, this time side-by-side. His answer was a little vague, but it was an answer, and all Anemone could gather from it was that he had a dog, and that his existance seemed very relaxed. Of course it could have been the exact opposite, but with what he explained he made out that it was quite calm.
"You have a dog? What kind of breed?" Anemone asked. She liked animals. Mostly sea creatures, but dogs were usually quite sweet too. She preferred them to cats at least, and it ws always quite fun to play with them if they ever came to paddle in the sea. Pets were prohibited by Yunka. He believed that they distracted his children from their learnings, and distracted his Deitive 'off-spring' from better harnessing their powers. The one time Anemone had brought up the suggestion when she'd found an injured bird, Yunka snatched it from her hands and broke it's neck in front of her.
"Its always good to spend time outside. If I could... I'd spend all my time here. Its where I'm most at home. I'd go crazy if I was kept couped up inside all the time..." she trailed and silence descended. As with earlier it wasn't awkward. Quite the opposite, it was fairly relaxed and didn't make Anemone want to word vomit at all. It was like a silence that fell between two people so content in each other's company words weren't needed.
Though she doubted Raiden was feeling content to be in her company.
"Ah." She noticed the rocks, and took off at a run, reaching them in a few seconds. The rocks were like huge boulders, piled up on top of each other. Most were dry and looked easy to climb having flat sides, but some were suspending others on their edges, which were somewhat more precarious to climb on. The lower rocks were all decorated in some kind of algye, showing where the water came up to at high tide. Luckily there was a full few extra metres from where the algye ended and the rocks began that showed the beach, so the threat of getting washed away in high tide was slim.
"Its not too hard to get up. Just climb where I climb, okay." Anemone explained. She did as she intended, heaving herself up the side of the rocks with her hands and legs. Now she was older and taller, climbing them was as hard or as scary as when she'd been younger. In fact it now only took her two or three minutes to get to the top of the pile, and stand on the flat side of boulder. Once up, she breathed in deeply and looked to Raiden on the ground.
"Nearly there!"

“Mm, Fenrir. He’s a husky.” Raiden explained. Recalling that he hadn’t spent much time with Fenrir as of late.
In fact it had been two whole weeks since he had seen his dog. It couldn’t be helped though. Not with Raiden teaching at Kosaka. He, much to his annoyance, was being made to stay on the school grounds by his superior, which meant that he couldn’t leave Fenrir alone in his apartment. So for the moment Ella was taking care of him.
‘I should check up on him tomorrow.’ He decided. It was Saturday tomorrow so he didn’t have any classes to teach and as far as he was aware, no odd ‘Jobs’ to go out on.
Anemone seemed like quite an energetic person, the Hanyou noted somewhere in the back of his mind as he watched her rush forward towards the large rocks.
Bright and energetic and friendly. The very opposite of him. Why did someone like her want to spend time with someone like him, he wondered.
But the thought had disappeared just as fast as it had come.
Raiden slowed to a stop at the base of the large boulders and glanced up to see that Anemone had already pretty much reached the top. He used an arm to shield his maroon eyes from the blinding sun and scaled the mountain of boulders with lazy eyes. It wasn’t too high. Anemone had already reached the top and was now calling down to him.
A minute later and the 23 year old was up at her side.

Standing on top of the pile of boulders, Anemone surveyed the surrounding area, just to check that the cove was deserted as she had said it would be.
It wasn't a surprise to find it was. Completely devoid of people. The boulders curved around the small cove in a cresant moon shape, making it hidden away and almost inaccessable apart from by sea, or through the rocks. It had taken Anemone weeks to find a way to access the beach through the rocks, and she'd sustained plenty of injuries from her previous attempts before she'd found a sizable gap in the boulders, which allowed her to get through. This was often where she came to release Fossu. It was so secluded that it didn't draw attention to the ritual, and Anemone could remain and regain her energy without threat of being disturbed while she was technically weak and defenceless, while Fossu enjoyed himself in the water and hunted.
She stepped a little to one side as her companion climbed up the rocks, and came to stand by her. He was quite speedy, but then, Anemone hadn't exactly expected anything less. "Which one's a husky? I like dogs, but I'm not too familiar with types."
Slipping her hands behind her back, Anemone moved along the flat top of the boulder and continued to walk along, bending and curving and stretching her legs to reach the more preaciously placed rock faces and edges. She'd never said this was an especially easy place to get to. About halfway along the, there came a gap about the size ofthe top of an average doorway in length, and width. The only light was coming from the sun, but there were cracks between other rocks, which allowed more light in.
"Down here." She called to Raiden, before she lowered herself down onto the rocks through the gap. "Keep your head down. These things h-ow!" She hurried through the small, cramped passage away until she was on the beach, hopping on one foot, grasping her right leg. "damn rocks, I forgot about that one." She slumped on the sand curling her right leg up so she could get a better view of the cut she'd gained from one of the rocks. It wasn't huge, but it was bleeding, and it hurt.
"Watch it when you're in there. I forgot, there's one rock that sticks out at an angle." She called up to Raiden, briefly shielding her eyes from the sun to see him. Then she moved her attention back to her leg.

“They’re best known for being sledge dogs.” Raiden explained simply and followed after Anemone.
‘This was a bad idea.’ He grumbled after having hit the front of his head on a jagged rock. He rubbed at his head irritably and shuffled along through the rocks. This time a little more cautious and aware of his surroundings. It was sort of hard for him though. The space was so cramped! It wasn't comfortable at all.
Anemone’s voice echoed a little as she called back to him. She had been halfway through her sentence when he had heard a pained yelp. His ears had pricked up a little as he listened to Anemone hastily clamber her way out of the rocky area and onto the sand.
Raiden hurriedly followed after, hoping that she hadn’t injured herself too badly. Because that was the last thing he needed to deal with and/or have to explain to any of the professors back at the school.
He broke through onto the sand, barely dodging the rock Anemone had warned him about. His sensitive nose had already picked up the distinct scent of blood as he approached the still form slumped on the sand.
‘Great.’
“Let me see.” Raiden ordered softly as he came to crouch besides Anemone. He carefully placed his fingers around the wound, moving her leg gently so that he could see it more clearly.
“Sorry.” He apologised, having prodded her wound a little harder than he intended. From what he could see the cut wasn’t all that big but it seemed to be bleeding quite a bit.
What he needed was something to stop the bleeding. He eyed Anemone over and then glanced around at their surroundings, looking for something, anything that could be used a sort of small bandage.
Nothing. He didn't know what he was expecting. They were on a beach after all. In a secluded area, it wasn't as if anyone else was around to offer aid.
A quiet sigh could be heard, followed by slightly irritated mutterings about Anemone being careless and clumsy, as Raiden tugged his wife-beater up over his head. Once the item of clothing had been removed, he tore off two strips of material from the bottom of the white shirt. One to wipe up the blood and the other to be used as a sort of bandage.
Screwing one of the pieces of material into a ball, he began to dab gently at the cut, wiping away the blood so that the cut was clean. He moved quickly to tie the other piece of material around her leg and over the cut.
‘This should do.’ he tugged on the bow lightly, apologising again for the added pressure. But the pressure was needed if the bleeding was to stop.
The hanyou surveyed his work with a satisfied nod. Everything looked fine. Applying make-shift bandages was something he was actually good at it. He did it often enough.
“Can you stand?” He asked whilst slipping his wife-beater back on. The shirt didn’t look too bad, despite that he had torn a considerable amount off from the bottom. He had been careful to strip off the material in straight lines, so the bottom line of his shirt looked relatively level. Luckily the wife beater had already been rather long, so it didn’t look too short either.
Raising to a stand, Raiden held out a hand towards Anemone.

Anemone hadn't expected Raiden's reaction. It was the polar opposite to what she had imagined. She had an assumption in her mind that he would make his way through the space onto the beach, point out that she was an idiot - which fair enough, she was - and then carry on to find a nice spot to sit at on the cove.
She had not anticipated him helping her, and actually going as far as to dress and clean the cut. Not to say she wasn't grateful, she was just a little stunned at his behaviour to warrent any words. She was also a little distracted by his appearance when he'd removed his wife beater and set about cleaning the incision. Again, not a sight she minded... no, she would be more than happy to see this, but again it seemed out of character.
Not that she really knew anything much about his character from their encounter so far. She knew he liked dogs, and liked being on his own, and that he seemed to be getting used to her. But that was about it. So maybe he liked being a bit of a hero when it was required? Anemone hadn't needed a hero, she could have just gone in the water which would have hopefully quelled the bleeding and numbed the pain, so she'd have been able to get back to the school. But she wasn't about to tell him that. No... she was grateful, and rather flustered now with the whole thing.
He was muttering, not very quietly, about the fact she was nuisance and a clumsy one at that. She managed to pull herself out of her bright red, silent stupor long enough to smile sheepishly. "I'm not the most graceful thing on two legs I'm afraid." She admitted, and then returned to being silent as he finished tying the makeshift bandage around her leg.
He'd tied it with enough pressure that the bleeding should hopefully stop soon. And ruined his wife beater in the process. He kept apologising, another thing she hadn't expected. And all she wanted to do was hug him. He was so... she had no idea. There weren't words to express how she was feeling in relation to him at this moment in time. But he was something.
As he pulled his wife beater back on, he moved to stand and Anemone started to shift, readying herself to stand up. She saw a hand come down close to her level. She blinked. Looked from the hand to Raiden and back, before she smiled, dusted her hands of sand and took a hold of the limb gratefully. She rose to standing, gingerly applying weight to her right foot to try it out.
"Seems okay to stand on." Anemone confirmed, "sorry about that... I usually just swim in here, so I tend to forget about any abstract rocks." She paused, and looked a the bandage sheepishly. "Thank you too. I had no idea you'd turn into some kind of hero!" Chuckling for a moment, Anemone glanced at him witha lop-sided smile. "Did you bang your head? You have a bit of a graze there." She pointed to the afflicted place on the front of his head and was tempted to rub it, though decided it would be better if she didn't, and also believed he wouldn't appriciate it.
"Ahem..." Anemone coughed quietly, finally dropping her hand from Raiden's, realising she'd been holding on to it since she'd stood up, "so, aside from the eventful time getting here, how do you like the cove? Secluded enough?"
