Felix Felicis:
Well, that coulda gone better. I thought to myself as I jumped nimbly, trying to avoid the kick that'd been aimed at me. The foot still made enough contact with my side to knock me over, but I didn't sustain any injury from it.
I've dealt with varied reactions from people when they realize I can 'speak', but I hadn't been ready for the latent anger against telepaths this person had. I guess I was naive to think meta-humans would likely accept other meta-humans better than regular humans do...
The growl really should have given it away. I thought, in hindsight. I watched her walk away, holding back the urge to hiss angrily. "Don't do that again." she'd warned me and I took that to mean my thought-speaking to her, which was the only reason I didn't apologize to her straight-away for upsetting her.
When she was out of range, I turned my attention back to the guy she'd been chatting so nicely with and his new female companion who'd just jumped him from behind. <Um... What just happened?> I asked them, taking care to direct my thought-speak to only these two individuals in front of me, lest I inadvertently upset anyone else. I could keep an eye on two people easily, but not a whole crowd that might contain others who might be upset with my thought-speak communication method.
I glanced back to the steadily retreating figure of my aggressor before returning my gaze to the two in front of me and continuing; <Is there something I aught to know about her?>
I wasn't sure if the guy had noticed her kick me, as he did have a distraction at the time, so maybe they would still not realize where my 'voice' was coming from. Then again, they were meta-humans with thusfar-unknown powers, so they may have their own means of detecting the 'voice' is coming from me... I'd have to wait and see how they react, or I could ask them directly I suppose.

“You’re right, falling over would have been really embarrassing.” Honey agreed with a sheepish giggle at herself. Frick’s comment had helped some. Looking at the brighter side of the whole ‘T-shirt ordeal’ eased her embarrassment.
Humming in agreement with the idea of praising the student(s) who had organised the event, Honey tucked a strand of blonde hair behind her ear, smiling a little when a comment was made about this party not being her scene.
Frick was right. Honey wasn’t exactly what one would call a party girl. In fact this had to be her very first official ‘School party’. So she was here to watch over the students but that didn’t mean she couldn’t enjoy herself at the same time.
After becoming a little irritated with her glasses as they continued to slip down her nose, Honey removed them. ‘Oh..’ They were broken. Her favourite glasses too. They wouldn’t cost much to fix as the glasses themselves weren’t all that fancy or expensive. But still..
With a quiet sigh, the blonde hooked her glasses onto the neckline of her shirt. At least her glasses weren’t a necessary.
“A drink would be nice.” She smiled, realising that the drink she had earlier had gone missing.
____
“Huh?”
Charlize glanced around in all directions, curious as to who it was using telepathy directed at her. Nobody seemed to be looking at her though. Maybe someone had accidentally linked with her.. Either that or someone was trying to trick her.
'Weird..'
Shaking her head lightly, golden eyes quickly locked onto a familiar figure approaching across the beach.
“Dusk!” Charlize grinned happily and moved in to hug her older brother once he had reached her. Charlize knew that he wasn’t one for PDA’s. He never had been. But ever since the pair had been reunited all she wanted to do upon seeing him was give him bone crushing hugs.
“Hey.” Raiden replied and pulled a hand free from his pocket so that he could embrace the smaller girl in a one armed hug. The corner of his mouth twitched up into a small yet warm smile when Charlize pulled away and began gloating about how ‘Everyone thinks the beach looks great!!’ and about how she‘s a ‘Total genius.’
“It looks good.” He commented whilst his eyes scanned the surrounding area. Only glancing back to Charlize when she asked if he’d be staying.
“No.” He replied and placed a hand on her head, messing up her hair a little in the process. “Five minutes remember.”
“Yeah, yeah. I got it.” Charlize pouted and swatted at his hand so that she could tidy up her hair. “I’m just glad you came.”

((Eeh, I know it's weird to RP with myself, haha. But they won't be interacting for long.))

Honey agreed with him about the T-shirt problem and it cause Frick to smile. Despite the recent happenings in the past, Frick refused to be a pessimist (in the presence of others at least) so tried to keep himself upbeat, and hoped it would rub off on other people. Especially people who needed it, like Professor Lehane did.
He noticed he having trouble with her glasses which seemed to want to have a tété-a-tété with the sand. Finally she relented and removed them. She looked a little unhappy for a moment, and it wasn't difficult to figure out why. The scuffle with the T-shirt had taken a casulty. And the casulty was Honey's glasses.
She agreed to a drink, and he nodded, wandering towards the water cooler. He picked up a couple of sodas, thinking that drinking probably wouldn't be a good idea. Plus is wasn't sure if the blonde woman drank anyway. As he turned to go back to her, he noticed one of his older Chemistry students giving him a knowing grin and a thumbs up. Frick rolled his eyes, shooting a small spark in the boy's direction. He then returned to Honey.
"Here." He handed her the can, and stood adjacent to her. "Your glasses got broken?" he pointed at them pearched neatly on the neckline of her t-shirt. "Its a good oppertunity to get some new ones. There's a great same-day opticians in town. Its where I bought mine." Frick slipped his hands into his back pocket pulling out his glasses case. He always kept them with him. And a book, in case he got a moment to read. He took them out carefully and placed the square, thick black framed glasses on his face.
"Though I think you'd look better with oval shaped glasses." He smiled, and turned his attention to the students. Just to make sure nothing was going wrong.
--
Milling around the hords of students had proved a little futile. There was no one she really knew, and the students she knew only by sight were always getting into the festivities, and Anemone didn't really like crashing their party. She felt a little awkward. Literally like a fish out of water, and considered returning to the water to watch the comings and goings from there. Where she wouldn't be disturbed, and she wouldn't disturb them.
She decided to do a last quick round of the area, so see if anyone she knew had arrived since she'd done her previous one (five minutes earlier). She wandered towards a small group who had accumulated. It was less crowded where they were and therefore easier to pass.
As she approached she noticed a familiar pair of ears and grinned, speeding up a little. As soon as she had, she slowed, noticing he was involved. Hugging a shorter blue haired girl. Anemone's stomach burbled unhappily, and she wanted to punch herself to stop the envy spreading any further. She inhaled deeply, forcing her feelings to subside and approached slowly and somwhat awkwardly.
"Uhm... hey." Her voice came out barely more than a mewl and she felt like drowning. "Hey." She said, a little louder. "Do you mind if I join you?" She stood awkwardly on the spot, feeling herself turning redder by the second.
Oh yeah... totally a fish out of water.

Felix Felicis:
I sighed inwardly: This thoughtspeak ability, though useful for communicating, doesn't lend itself well for identifying where it is coming from. Even directionally. I decided 'low-tech' was the way to go, in the end:
"Meow." I mewled, looking up at the girl whom my thoughtspeak had confused. Nothing beats a good old-fashioned meow to get attention - Hopefully without annoying someone this time.
Strangely, the only person so far to realize where my thoughtspeak had come from, was the one person who seemed to actively hate telepaths... I wondered if that person would hate me so much if she knew how limited my 'telepathy' actually is; that I cannot read anyones mind or anything of the sort, just speak in their heads.
I wonder what happened to make her hate cats... That kick was completely unnecessary, regardless whether it hurt or not.

“Thanks.” Honey took the offered beverage with a somewhat timid smile and bowed her head almost immediately. The professor cursed herself mentally for her shyness. She had a tendency to act like a shy child when it came down to conversing with people she barely knew. Her shyness is a trait she isn’t especially fond of. It causes her to constantly worry over how other people view her. Especially the Professors at Kosaka Haven. The last thing she wants is for people to think she’s an incompetent teacher.
“Yeah..” The Art professor half frowned after glancing down at her damaged glasses. She traced a thumb over and around a silver rim and then returned her attention back to the taller professor, as he told her of an opticians in the towns centre.
“Thanks. I’ll have a look next week.” Honey smiled.
“Ah, really?” Honey repeated, a light blush accenting her features. She had never really thought about what type of glasses would suit her. In fact she rarely ever took the time to find items of clothing and such that would suit her.
Gulping down two mouthfuls of soda, Honey lowered her can and joined Frick in watching the students go about their activities. “Looks like they’re having fun.” she commented with a small smile. Down by the shore she could see a couple of students splashing around in the water. She hoped no one would think of going for a swim. It isn’t always safe to swim at night.
“I love this song!” Honey squealed suddenly and hopped up and down on the spot, unable to contain her excitement.
“Sorry.” She bumbled through a sheepish smile, her face rivalling the colour of a tomato. “I just - it’s my favourite.”
_
“Sure.” Charlize replied to the newcomers request with a friendly smile. She noted that the newcomer looked a little red in the face. Maybe she’s shy? “I’m Charlize. This is Du-- sorry, Raiden. You go to Kosaka, right?”
Raiden simply nodded an ‘hello’ and pocketed both of his hands into his jean pockets. He glanced Anemone over, noting how.. different.. she looked in a bikini. Almost immediately he caught himself out, scowled and turned his wandering gaze towards the bonfire.
“Do you two know each other?” Charlize questioned suddenly, breaking the now awkward silence. Her golden eyes glanced between both Raiden and the new girl. “Wait, are you -” Charlize stopped short when she heard a quiet mew.
Glancing down, her eyes landed on a small black and white cat sat at her feet.
“Hey buddy.” Charlize bent down and carefully scooped the cat up into her hands. She stood up straight and tucked the cat in one arm. “What are you doing out here, huh?” she questioned, her fingers gently scratching at a fury ear.
“The cat is a student.” Raiden said, an amused smirk pulling at his lips. He wasn’t one for remembering each student that attends Kosaka. But he and the other professors had been informed, not too long ago, that a student with the body of a cat would be attending the school shortly. He had been told to read through the new students profile and has seen him on a few occasions making his way around the school halls.
“Ah..” Charlize said awkwardly and carefully placed the cat back onto the sand. “Sorry.” She half chuckled with a strained smile, as her fingers scratched at an ear. “Embarrassing!”

Frick's lips quirked in a small grin when she bowed at him after accepting the drink. It was an odd custom, but obviously something she wanted to do. Or something she always did to say thank you. Or maybe it was a nervous thing. She seemed nervous. More nervous and skittish than when he'd first come over. Maybe he wasn't helping things.
She made a couple of random comments, replies to what he'd said about glasses and about the opticians. "I'll come down with you if you want? I need to get another set of glasses anyway. I keep leaving mine in stupid places." He explained, taking his glasses off and setting them safely in their case.
He followed her gaze to the groups of students playin hte surf and nodded silently in agreement. This bonfire had been a good idea. It was getting a lot of students to interact with each other when they might now have usually. Kosaka was of course a school, and schools had cliques. Kosaka was no different. He could spot the specific cliques a mile away. But this was a good oppertunity for the cliquey-ness to be disrupted and for students to meet other students they might not usually meet.
Then Honey squealed and Frick nearly dropped his drink from fright. He never heard her squeal before. Or even get excited so her reaction made him grin and laugh a little. "Its fine, its fine!" He chuckled, waving off her apology. "If you like it, go have a dance! I'll watch your drink for you."
--
Smiling awkwardly still, Anemone took a few moer steps forward and stopped again, just shy of the group as the blue haired girl, Charlize introduced herself and Raiden. Obviously unaware that Anemone already had a good idea who Raiden was. He nodded a greeting and she smiled slightly.
"Well.. hi. I'm Anemone." She murmured a little uneasily. She was never sure if that was how she should introduce herself. Her full name or a nickname. But no one, aside from her siblings, ever called her by her nicknames. But they were shorter, and less of a mouthful than 'Anemone' was.
Anemone's smile grew a little as Charlize glanced between herself an Raiden. She started asking a question but stopped half way. Anemone was curious to know what the rest of the question was, but stopped short at the sight of the cat.
"That's a student?" She repeated, pointing at the furry creature. She had nothing against cats per se... they just seemed... untrustworthy to her. The way they moved and used people for their own means. But if this cat was a student then maybe it wasn't quite like other cats. Curious she moved a little closer a squatted as Charlize put it on the floor.
"Is it like... a shape shifter, or a meta-human who's just a cat? I mean... technically you'd have to at least be kind of human to be a meta human... wouldn't you?" The entire thing was rahter confusing. If fascinating.

Felix Felicis:
Before a sound had left my mouth, the girl whom I’d confused introduced herself to another girl who had just wandered up to her and her companion. Apparently she was called Charlize, the male was called Raiden, though Charlize had almost introduced him as Dusk – A name I recalled hearing her address him by shortly after my failed thought-speak introduction. Perhaps it was a pet-name only she was allowed to use? I decided to bear that in mind, but not to ask about it ‘aloud’ unless I was alone with one or both of them.
The newcomer smiled as she approached slightly nearer, and murmured that her name was Anemone. She seemed a little unsure of herself, and probably nervous around people she hadn’t met before.
It didn’t escape my notice that Raiden’s eyes seemed to rove the newcomer’s body almost hungrily, taking in every curve of exposed flesh before catching himself and forcing his eyes away. Interesting… I thought, realizing the two had already met, but apparently she had had considerably more clothing on at the time. Once again, I would have smiled had I been physically capable of it.
Anemone’s smile grew as an awkward silence stretched between the three, which Charlize broke by asking if they knew each other. Halfway through her next question, she’d heard my meow.
Her eyes found me. She greeted me and then scooped me up carefully into her arms as she stood back up. The move wasn’t totally unexpected, but I chose to allow it because of how careful she’d been, and the fact she was female helped of course.
As she tucked me under her arm, she asked what I was doing out here. I was just about to introduce myself and reply when she started to scratch behind my ear. – I love it when people do that to me! – My eyes closed instinctively at the sensation, but then the Raiden bloke had to spoil it: As soon as she’d been told I was a student, she was putting me back down on the ground and probably feeling awkward. She apologized to me, evidently for picking me up without asking, then exclaimed the word ‘Embarrassing’ as she scratched behind my ear again – which to me, was ample apology by itself!
Anemone was less subtle as she noticed me and heard what Raiden had said, exclaiming “That’s a student?” while rudely pointing at me. The look she gave me didn’t instil trust on her part, which made me hesitant at thought-speaking again – given what had happened the last time.
She moved closer to me, squatting down to get a better view as Charlize lowered me to the ground. "Is it like... a shape shifter, or a meta-human who's just a cat? I mean... technically you'd have to at least be kind of human to be a meta human... wouldn't you?" she asked in a rush. Her manner seemed to be somewhere between confused and fascinated, but she didn’t seem angry yet, or upset in any way.
She’d called me ‘It’. Actually, she’d referred to me as ‘That’ first, but I’d chosen to let her off then. I don’t like being called ‘It’, and now felt safe enough to try thought-speaking again;
<Actually I’m a bit of each. Hi, I’m Felix Felicis, feel free to call me Phil – Or anything other than ‘It’ really. Pleased to make your acquaintance!> I said, looking directly at Anemone. I turned my head toward Charlize; <No need to apologize, young lady, you were quite gentle with me actually. Feel free to pick me up again if you like.> I then addressed all 3 of them; <I gather from your introductions to each other that your names are Charlize, Raiden, and Anemone, right?>
I sat on my haunches as I waited for their responses. I’d only been here since earlier today, but had already glanced Raiden a few times as I’d prowled the corridors, familiarizing myself with my new home-to-be.

It took a few seconds for Charlize to catch onto who exactly it was using telepathy. Phil. No wonder she hadn’t known where the ‘thought-speech’ had come from earlier. She had been looking for another person, not a cat.
“Uh-huh.” Charlize replied when Phil rolled out their names.
Charlize felt just as curious towards the newcomer as Anemone did, though she didn’t really show it. She didn’t want him to feel uncomfortable or out of place by bombarding him with questions or probing fingers.
“So, how about some drinks?” Charlize questioned and glanced in turn around the small circle of people. “Hey, where do you think you’re going?” Charlize said suddenly, when she spotted Raiden slipping away from the group.
“Drinks.” He answered simply, stuffed his hands into his pockets and wandered off through the crowd.
Charlize half frowned and turned back to the two newcomers. “Sorry.” she apologised with a slight grimace. “He’s not much of a talker.”
“Hey ladies.”
“Jason.” Charlize grimaced again, when a tall lanky figure fumbled his arm over her small shoulders. Charlize was sure that if she didn’t have her strength she would‘ve crumbled under his weight. The guy was practically lying on her.
“You’re drunk already?” She hissed and attempted to turn her face away when her sensitive nose caught the scent of his nasty smelling breath. It was enough to make her want to gag.
“We started the party early.” He drawled into her ear, his wet lips brushing her cheek a little.
“Oh god.” Charlize whined and forcefully shoved the tall teen away, causing him to stumble across the sand. After regaining his balance he wandered back over, beer bottle still clutched in long fingers and glared accusingly at the blue haired teen.
“C’mon Char.” he hiccupped, his face torn between what Charlize guessed was his attempt at pulling off the whole ‘puppy dog-eyed’ look and confusion. “We’re friends right?”
No. She had wanted to say. She only really knew him through two of the classes they shared up at the school.
“Sure, when you’re not a complete wreck.” Charlize commented, and snatched the beer bottle from his hand. “Lay off the alcohol.”
“Psh.” He huffed and instead of arguing with Charlize, swirled to look at Anemone. “Hey babe.” He leered, wet lips splitting into a wide grin.

Anemone hadn't ever seen a shapeshifter, let alone one that could talk, so was automatically rather fascinated by Felix and how he was able to speak. Not as subtle as everyone else, she scooped him up in her arms to examine him further, resting him in her arms.
"I'm Anemone." She confirmed, slipping her fingers over his head and rubbing behind the ears. And instinctive thing she'd picked up from Fossu, who liked a similar treatment, only instead of behind the ears it was behind the gills he liked being rubbed. A little involved with Felix for the moment, Anemone glanced up when she heard Charlize mentioned drinks.
"Sounds like an idea-" She noticed Raiden wandering off, unsurprised and shrugged inwardly. She smiled a little at Charlize's apology, "I know he's not, but its okay."
Descending into a momentary quiet stupor, she continued to pet Felix, rather liking petting a cat. Having never really had the chance. However, her calm was shattered when a male voice, rather slurred and wavering broke it. Anemone took a step back when the teen, Jason slipped his arm around Charlize.
She could sere the disgust cross the blue haired girl's face, and that she was trying - practically forcing herself - to be congenial towards him, despite his boorish behaviour. Anemone stifled a small giggle when he was shoved away, and Charlize snatched the swilling bottle from his hand. However, her laugh stopped when his attention turned to her.
It wasn't the fact he was drunk that put her off, the grin was what really affected her and made her want to run into the deep water and not come out. She didn't however, though she definately felt her grip tighten slightly on Felix. She glanced at Charlize uneasily, stepping back hesitantly. "H-hey..."

“Jason.” Charlize snapped, her voice heavily laced with warning. “Knock it off.” She grabbed his bare arm, though the moment she did an electric spark lit up around her hand and seconds later an agonizing pain shook her entire body to the core. Charlize yelped and crumbled to the sand, her entire body in temporary shock.
“Weak.” Jason drawled, casting a brief glance over his shoulder at Charlize. He turned his eyes back to Anemone, stumbled over and placed an arm over her shoulder. “Why haven’t I seen you before?” He hiccupped again and upon seeing the cat cradled in her arms, smirked. “Nice pu ssy.”
Raiden had returned with three cans of soda when he saw his sister curled upon the floor. Discarding the cans he hurried over to help Charlize up. “Are you okay? What happened?”
“Yeah..” Charlize mumbled warily as she sat up, one hand rubbing at her head through locks of blue hair. “That bastard shocked me..”
Following Charlize’s indication, Raiden looked up to see the Jock leaning all over Anemone, a crude smirk on his face. Narrowing his maroon eyes into a glare, Raiden helped Charlize stand and stalked over to where Anemone was stood.
A girlish squeal that could’ve put a pigs cry to shame, ripped through the air when Jason fell to the sand. Raiden had grabbed a handful of the back of his shirt and had slammed him back into the ground so fast and hard, that his feet had left the ground.
“Get. Lost.” He spat venomously, maroon eyes narrowed into a dark glare. No one hurt the people he cared about and got away with it.
Jason blinked - one, two, three times, opened his mouth to protest (but thought better of it), scrambled to his feet and half limped - half ran away.
After watching Jason hurry his way off of the beach, Raiden cast a sideway glance to Anemone. “You okay?”
_____
Honey faltered slightly when Frick offered to watch over her drink so that she could dance. “Oh, no. I think that would be a bad idea.” She chuckled a little. “I have to be the worst dancer. Ever.”
Smiling brightly, she took another gulp of her can and let out a refreshed ‘Ah’.
“I love bonfires.” She stated, her gaze drawn to the flames. Bonfires were always so much fun.
“How about you?” She questioned and glanced at Frick. Her gaze faltered however when she heard what sounded like a girl screaming.
Immediately, her eyes darted around in search of who it was who had screamed. They sounded close. Her large brown eyes eventually stopped on a pair of dog ears, attached to a head of silver hair, who she identified as professor Raiden. There seemed to be some sort of commotion going on, but he seemed to have it under control.
“I wonder what happened..” She murmured quietly, her curious gaze trailing after a tall student who was racing his way off of the beach.

Anemone felt the after shock of Jason's electricity take a rumble over her skin. It was like having Forchet hanging off of her. He liked to send shocks down people, especially hear due to her affinity with water. He did it because he found their reactions amusing.
She was worried about Charlize, but felt she couldn't really move, caught between a cat and a drunken idiot. "U...uhm..." Anemone just stammered. Words seemed to be caught in her throat. She wasn't exactly frozen in fear, but this wasn't a usual situation for her to be caught in. She leaned as far away from Jason as physically possible, adjusting her arms to get Felix to jump down to the floor, in case she felt the need to dash away.
However, she hadn't counted on Raiden scaring the drunken teen into screaming like a five year old girl and running for the hills. It could have been his face, or the scream, but Anemone giggled softly watching Jason's disappearing back. She glanced at Raiden and nodded once.
"Fine, thank you." She grinned a little, and then crossed to Charlize, "are you okay? That looked nasty. What a jerk."
--
Frick half smirked, "I doubt you're the worst dancer ever." He stated, taking a short drink from his can. "I'm sure there are plenty of people worse than you. I doubt our esteemed head mistress has much grace."
He fell into a silent stupor for the moment, and shoved a hand in his trunks pocket. Honey was distracted by the fire, and Frick was distracted by the goings on in the ground. Something was happening. he'd seen a blue haired student get knocked down and things seemed to be heating up.
Though there was a scream, that made Frick almost jump out of his skin. It sounded like a girl - but a male student was running off.
"Trouble probably." Frick said, "but it looks like its sorting itself out." He added, taking another sip from his can. "I'm sure its all good. Raiden's there, so I doubt any trouble will start with him around... I wouldn't want to start it at least."
He sighed quietly, removing his hand from his pocket to run it back through his bangs for a moment. "I'm gonna do my rounds. Wanna join me?"

Felix Felicis:
Charlize seemed confused for a moment, then she seemed to realize it was me that was speaking in her head. She murmured ascension that I’d gotten everyone’s names correct with an “Uh-huh.”
Anemone seemed fascinated with me, but before I could get uncomfortable at her staring, she’d scooped me up into her arms. Again because she was female, and quite pretty too, which always helped, I allowed her to scoop me up without protest. She confirmed her name was Anemone and then started rubbing behind my ears. – I, of course, immediately closed my eyes and started purring. Did I mention how much I LOVE when people do that to me?
With my ears being given such attention, I barely noticed Charlize’ offer of drinks and was far too distracted to answer. It seemed that Raiden had gone off to fetch said drinks in the middle of Anemone’s answer. Charlize apologized on his behalf, but Anemone apparently thought the apology was unnecessary and continued to pet me. – I was beginning to like her.
Then a new voice broke in. It was a male voice and kinda slurred – He was apparently nowhere near sober. I cracked an eye open to see him slump himself over Charlize, a move she was obviously unimpressed with. She had addressed the brute with the name “Jason”, so I’ll assume that’s his name. I was impressed that such a small-framed girl could bear his weight without collapsing into a heap, but somehow she managed.
I saw her nose wrinkle up at his bad alcohol-breath, which I could already smell even at this distance; A distance that had just increased as I felt Anemone step back from the newcomer.
When Jason drawled into Charlize’s ear, I guess he must’ve brushed against her cheek – She looked disgusted and shoved him away so he stumbled. He tried to get back on her good side by asking if they were friends or not, but Charlize had a smart answer ready – that they were only friends basically when he was sober – and snatched his booze off him as she told him to “Lay off the alcohol.”
I felt Anemone giggle against me in reaction to how Charlize was treating Jason and found myself agreeing with the sentiment – it was pretty funny. Then Jason turned his attention to us, though I got the impression it was mainly on Anemone, given the leering look on his face. Anemone’s laughter stopped as soon as he addressed her as ‘Babe’. I felt her grip tighten on me and she stopped petting me. I looked up to see her glance over at Charlize, as if silently asking for her help as she stepped back even further.
Charlize warned him to lay off her, but got zapped when she touched him, causing her to yelp and twitch in a pained heap on the sand. Jason lumbered over to Anemone and as he draped himself over her, I felt a jolt of static that evidently reached me through Anemone. He asked why he hadn’t seen her before and I was glad she had something to block his view of her cleavage with, given what little she was wearing… Even if that something happened to be me.
Then his attention turned to me, as he commented “Nice pu ssy.” Yeah, like I hadn’t heard that one before! I growled up at him, preparing to swipe with my front claws, but it was at that moment that Anemone’s grip shifted and I found myself slipping out of her arms to land on the floor. I’d wanted to stay in her arms where I could reach him better, but in order to have stayed there I would’ve had to grip her skin with my claws and I didn’t want to hurt her. As I landed, on all four feet as usual, I hissed up at him and hunkered down in a ready-to-strike position. – If he so-much as touched her again, he’d regret it. I’d make sure of that.
As I began the transformation into Wildcat form, I heard Raiden return and go to Charlize’s aid. Jason’s squeal hurt my sensitive ears as Raiden threw him away from Anemone. Raiden told him to ‘get lost’ and I hissed at him again for good measure. He decided he’d had enough and ran off. As he ran away, I gradually regained my usual form – My size diminished slightly, and the colour of my fur graduated from tan back to black.
Raiden asked Anemone if she was ok, and she said she was, then she went over to Charlize to ask how she was and to call Jason a ‘jerk’.
<My sentiments exactly,> I said as I padded over to join Anemone at Charlize’s side, <I’m glad you came to the rescue, Raiden, otherwise I would’ve had to get my claws all bloody, and I don’t think his blood would’ve tasted that nice given the amount of alcohol that’d be in it.> My words were light-hearted, but I think my meaning was quite clear – If Raiden hadn’t been around, I would’ve defended the girls myself.
I wondered if any of them had noticed me start to transform, or returning from that partial morph – I hadn’t had time to complete the morph before the need for it had passed.
<I’d ask if you two were ok, but you already answered that question when Raiden asked it, so there’s not much point me asking it again. Who is that Jason-jerk anyway?> I asked as I sat on my haunches again between the two girls. I’d been nice and cosy and comfortable in each of their arms, but now I was on my own feet again. I kinda hoped I wouldn’t be for very long, it was nice being held and petted.
