The beach is littered with Tiki torches that are dotted out in a large circle. In the centre of the circle is the bonfire and around that are different colour beanie bags, three two-seater couches spaced out and towels laid down across the sand. Some under parasols, some just scattered randomly.
To the right of the bonfire are two beach/volley ball nets set up. Strings of dragon fly lights, borrowed from the Academy of course, are wrapped around wooden posts. Some lead into the shore of the ocean and some are intertwined within the volleyball nets.
To the side, besides an open spaced beach hut, a table has been set up and is surrounded by large speakers. The DJ, a meta human, Technopath from the school has set up shop and is using his abilities, to transfer and route music from his I-pod and laptop through the speakers.
There are two large sandcastles that have been built around two kegs. And by the side of them are large plastic cups of different colours. Red, yellow, blue, green. Around the sandcastles are coolers filled with bottled water, fizzy drinks and juice. Most supplied by the cafeteria at the academy.
Charlize stood with her hands on her hips and surveyed the beach with a satisfied smile. She had, had a lot of help from the students at the academy. A lot of them have very useful abilities that helped the process move along much faster than she had expected.
The sun is beginning to set and already people are beginning to show up for the party. Most attend Kosaka, though it looks like some have just come for fun. Charlize had been back to the academy, had changed into a pair of white shorts, a white bikini top and a pair of sandals, and was now helping some boys with adding more wood to the bonfire.
The bonfire wasn’t as big as she hoped it would be, but she didn’t want it to be too dangerous, so decided with the other helpers to keep it at an average size. Not too big but not too small.
Throwing the last piece of wood onto the bonfire, Charlize dusted off her hands.
“All done.” A young man, dressed in a pair of dark swimming shorts threw a piece of wood onto the bonfire and turned his attention to the small girl stood to his right.
“Thanks for the help.” She smiled and patted the tall boy on his bare back. He grinned and then wandered off to go about his own business.
‘It’s almost time.’ Charlize brushed her fingers back through her loose hair and stared out across the beach at the setting sun. As soon as the sun is set, she’d light the bonfire.
Turning her attention from the horizon, the 17 year old glanced around at surroundings. A lot of people had shown up so far. She hoped a lot of students from the academy would turn up. Flyers upon flyers had been handed out and posted all over the school grounds over the past week sp hopefully tonight would be a good turnout.

Cino walked slowly as he ocassionaly looked up at the ever growing night sky. Charlize had bugged him to almost no end about attending the bonfire party she was planning. It was all she seemed to talk about while in their dorm. She even talked about it at the cafeteria and nearly every other place. Yes, she was quite a party girl. He had told her that he would think about going, not that he made a promise, yet here he was walking down to the beach where it was held. He didn't know why he was going, but perhaps it was something else.
Charlize had been a good friend to him ever since they first met. Even if Cino wasn't the most talkative, she seemed to not even care and brush aside that small downfall about him. That...or it was just because they were room mates. It was only about a few minutes later that he found himself on the sand strewn beach with a fire already roaring. A few groups of people had already joining in on socializing and he noticed that everyone seemed ready to get up and dance to the music that was being pumped out.
Cino's emerald eyes were lit up by the glare from the bonfire as he looked around hoping to see someone...anyone he knew to go and simply be by. He didn't need to talk to them, he just felt a bit more secure being around someone he knew. His eyes strained slightly looking for Charlize, however still couldn't find her. He was about to give up before his eyes finally caught her signature blue hair that gleamed in the distance. He slowly made his way over to her as he felt the warm sand nestle itself on his socks and sandals. He simply raised one hand up and gave a half smile hoping she would catch him.

Silver was not happy.
Not at all.
The reason she wasn't happy would have seem silly to anyone else. She made a point of avoiding social situations. This bonfire was something she had been set on avoiding. But someone, whom she didn't know, yet - had plastered her area of her dorm room with flyers. And she couldn't get them off the wall. She was willing to guess it was one of her room mates, so she was hoping to bump into them and electrocute them from here to high Hell.
A bonfire. Really. How primetive. But due to the immoveable flyers, she was there, trying to find the interloper and suitably gut them. She didn't want to be here any longer than necessary, even if the glow of the newly lit fire was welcoming.
She didn't like the beach especially. Sand in her sneakers, it was breezy and there were too many people. No doubt most of them would transpire to drink and "be merry" as the night wore on. She would be long gone by then. Though she had to admit the set up was marginally inspired, that still didn't excuse the fact that her room was practically ruined, until the setter up of this idiotic prank was found and hurt. Serverely. She didn't like pranks or people. And this set up was already beginning to grate her tender nerves as she knocked shoulders with one boy who was getting into the festivities early she flinched and continued, stopping only as an arm wrapped around her waist.
"Heeeeeyy... where's the fire shortie...?" He slurred, swaying unsteadily.
"Oh... its here." Silver's patience and tolorance were already at rockbottom. She whipped around, fireball inhand and shot it into the boy's stomach. He flew back a few feet, landing on his back, winded and his clothes a little charred and smoking, but otherwise unhurt.
Silver continued stalking.

Felix 'Phil' Felicis:
Silver wasn't the only creature stalking around this area: My four paws padded almost noiselessly over the sand, seeking the warmth waiting for me by the bonfire itself. People didn't usually pay me much attention; all they saw was a little black house-cat prowling around, but I was much more than an ordinary cat.
Before dusk had faded to the dark of night, I'd spotted and chased-down a flyer to this bonfire-party-thing I'd seen fluttering along the acadamy's grounds. The chase was fun, but unlike ordinary cats I could also read and understand the flyer. I'd decided this was probably a good place to get the measure of whichever students attended, and resolved to come down here after dumping my little felt bag in the dorm I'd been assigned to.
As I continued toward the fire, I looked up at the faces around me to see if that would catch anyones attention.

(I hope this is fine Silver, if not...I can delete it or redo it if we haven't 'met')
Cino tapped his foot on the soft ground waiting for a moment, the sand still slowly pushing its way onto his sandals. It felt good to feel the somewhat warm sand through his socks. He eventually came to the conclusion that either A. Charlize was busy, or B. She hadn't seen him. None the less she might pick up on him later. Cino soon found himself striding down the beach until he heard a rather loud thump. What he would've expected to be fireworks of some sort was far from that. His emerald eyes soon shot over his shoulder to find a boy on his back in the sand and a triumphant girl walking away.
He squinted his eyes slightly in the darkness, although the numerous torches and bonfire seemed to do the trick. He soon noticed the hair all that was all too familiar. A smile crossed across his lips before he picked up the pace and rushed over. Coming up right behind her, Cino placed one hand on the top of her head. "Would you like to do that again?" He chuckled slightly hoping she would know who it was. He was a bit surprised to see her out at a social event let alone not even tell him.

Too many hormones. Too many people. Too much noise. Not enough space.
This was the kind of place Silver liked the least. When there were people everywhere, especially when they could just come up and touch her, whether it was intentional or not. Her fingers were itching, she just wanted to blow half of these drunken morons sky high and then find her room mates, suitably gut them and then go back to her dorm and spend the evening the Thanoss as she had intended.
But no - fate liked to have a way of kicking her in the teeth. Wouldn't have been the first time either.
She felt a hand land on her head and the temptation to grab it and try and drop kick the person in question was overwhelming, but she held off and simply shook her head free of the hand. She knew the voice and found it at least a little friendlier than the current situ she found herself in. At least there was someone there she didn't completely abhor.
"Tempting, very tempting. I think I'll give him five minutes to recover before bettering my aim so he fires back into the bonfire." She smiled wryly and then turned her head, glancing up at Cino. damn people always taller than her. She didn't have the stature for someone who was, fundamentaly one of the most powerful beings of all time. But then - would she want to have goats horns and flanks like Lucifer? No, not really.
"I didn't think I'd see you here. Doesn't seem much like your kind of scene." She said, folding her arms and leaning on one hip, "something tempted you?"
((It seems I have my muse back. *touch wood*))

Cino held his breath slightly as he waited for Silver to either turn around and hit him, or realize who it was. She looked up at him and noticed the immediate reaction. She hadn't expected to look up at all, although he wasn't that much taller or intimdating. Then again...the intimidating thing could go other ways with their reputation. The words out of her mouth would've been exactly what he wanted to say to her. He rolled his eyes slighlty. "Tempted? I think it was more on the lines of an obligation." He eyed Charlize who was still conversing with a few other people, none of which he knew. His emerald eyes flickered back to Cino. "And what about you?" He smiled slightly in the flickering light of the bonfire. It was a cool night, yet pleasant at the same time.

Silver half smiled at Cino's rebuttle of her comment. Obligation? Perhaps. She didn't like to make a habit of maiming humans, after all, that wasn't the reason she'd come topside. But some people just needed it... Or deserved it.
"Perhaps. I'll see how I feel in a few minutes. I've always been tempted to see how fast intoxicated people set alight." She leaned on one hip and folded her arms. Cino seemed distracted as he glanced across to a group of people. None of them Silver knew, none of them were her room mates, so they weren't her concern.
"I cam down here to maul my room mates for plastering my side of the room with posters for this mating ritual." Silver replied sardonically, her tone level and unamused. "I haven't found them yet, so it appears I'll be forced to endure the hormones until i do fin them and punish them suitably."
Clearing her throat for a moment, Silver adjusted her position and slotted her hands into her back pockets. "You're waiting for someone?" she asked, tilting her head and viewing beyond Cino to the group he'd looked at moments before. "The girl?"

Cino brushed his hand through his red spiky hair which had a few grains of sand in it. How they got there, he didn't know, however he simply didn't care either. He smothered his sandals into the slightly warm sand as he listened to Silver give her little story on why she was there. It was funny how neither of them wanted to come, although found themselves in some way at the beach. It was nice to see a familiar face and someone he could relate to. He didn't exactly fancy hanging around the so called 'popular' kids or jocks for that matter. It just wasn't his interest.
"Girl?" Cino arched an eyebrow and blinked his eyes for a moment. He didn't even know what she was talking about until he looked over. "Oh...OH. Charlize yeah....my dorm mate." Cino rubbed the back of his hair for a moment. "She was the one that orchestrated this entire thing...so by all means the first person she asked to come..." Cino shrugged not continuing hoping Silver would get the idea. "Why?" Cino questioned as he brought a hand up and rubbed Silver's hair. "Want to start some trouble over there or something?" He half chuckled looking back at the group.

Cino's reaction caused Silver to lift an eyebrow. He seemed a little caught out when she mentioned... Charlize, was it? She didn't press it. It wasn't exactly a huge deal to her how he reacted when questioned about other people. She'd just caught him off guard it seemed. Dorm mate. Well - that expalined why Cino was here. This seemed about as much his scene as it was her own.
"Cause trouble? Me?" Silver questioned, feigning innocence - something that did not come naturally. "I won't need to as long as I'm left to my own devices." She confirmed firmly, folding her arms and rocking back on her heels. "She's quite good at getting attention I see. Well - I suppose its good for people to get to know each other." Silver shrugged.
She was still curious as to where her own dormmates were hiding. She was going to harm them. She didn't want to be here any longer than was necessary. More people were arriving moment by moment, it would get crowded. And loud and... sticky. Not her ideal situ.
"Look, I'm going to find someone to maul." Silver said, half serious, half flippant, "if you want her attention, go and take it. Its rude that she's ignoring one of her guests."

Felix Felicis:
It turned out it was going to take more than looking at people to get their attention, so I eventually approached someone at random. I chose two people who seemed to be chatting amicably with each other, figuring they might be friendly by the tone with which they conversed. As I approached them, I called out a greeting:
<Hello,> I said in their heads, <I'm Felix, a new student at Kosaka. How do you do!> I wondered for a moment whether they'd realize where my voice was coming from...

The bonfire looked brilliant.
Honey made her way onto the sands of the beach, barefooted and in nothing but a white open back one-piece that according to the store clerk ‘accented her natural sun-kissed skin beautifully’. In all honesty wearing this swim-suit was a little daring for the 24 year old. Normally she’d come to the beach wearing an overly large shirt and a pair of baggy shorts but had decided to try something different.
Though despite that she had risked such huge, drastic and somewhat scary change, she had still brought a large t-shirt with her.
‘There’s a lot of people.’
Honey had volunteered to supervise the beach party tonight. There would no doubt be drinking and things could take a turn for the worse. A fight between drunken meta-human teenagers would not turn out well at all. Hopefully tonight wouldn’t come to that and if it did.. Well that was why Honey was here. But in all honesty she wasn’t sure what she would be able to do if a fight broke out. She probably wasn’t the best person to supervise but the 24 year old loved a good bonfire. It had been years since she had been to one.
After making her way across the sand to where drinks were being handed out, Honey had a blue cup filled with juice given to her and was now standing to the side a little ways from the bonfire. Despite feeling a little out of place, with being the only professor here, Honey felt mostly at ease. The air felt warm and the atmosphere was surprisingly relaxing even with all of the people around.
“Professor Lehane! Looking hot!”
Honey stumbled forward a little after being patted heavily on the back, her face blushing beet red when the teenager who had complimented her shuffled past with a cheeky wink and a thingyy grin.
“Um-”
Feeling nervous and conscience all of a sudden, the blonde quickly fidgeted with the white material folded up in her hands before pulling it on over her head. The shirt was large.. A little too large and because of this she found herself trying to fit both her arm and head through one of the sleeves - leaving her stuck and struggling.
Honey was sure that she’d die of embarrassment if she ever got out of this. __________________________________________________________________________________
Raiden did not want to be here. In fact at the moment the beach was the last place he wanted to be. In any normal situation there wasn’t a chance in hell the Hanyou would be caught dead at a student party. But of course this wasn’t a normal situation. He had come here because he had promised his sister that he would come down for five minutes and see all of her ‘hard work.’
He had to admit, the beach looked good. It seemed that his little sister was quite the party planner. Making his way across the sand, hands pocketed in his dark jeans, Raiden kept an eye out for a blue head of hair. Which was a little hard with all of the bodies swarming around. There were students everywhere.
Across the beach he could see people sat around the bonfire. Others were standing and some were dancing to the music. And then there was one student he could see struggling to pull on a t-shirt. He stared at the female for a moment and quirked an amused brow when he spotted her bump into a number of people as it appeared she couldn’t see. A sigh passed his lips and he shook his head in disbelief.
‘How hard is it to put on a t-shirt?’ was the idle thought that passed through his mind before he returned his attention to looking for his sister.
_________________________________________________________________________________
“I’ll see you guys later.”
Charlize waved lightly to the group of students she had been chatting away with after spotting her roommate not to far from the bonfire. The teen headed over towards Cino and ever so carefully tip-toed up behind the taller teenager.
“Boo!” She called out and practically leaped onto his back. Giggling at herself she stumbled around so that she was stood before her friend and grinned widely at him. “Hey. Glad you could make it.”

Frick had offered himself up to the lion's den it seemed. Nimah had wanted to come and look out for the students at Charlize's beach party, but her work and backlog of marking had meant she was unable. That also meant they were one teacher down for look out. She Frick had offered his services. It would do him good to get out of his room, away from his memories, and outside for a while.
He'd dressed for the occasion in a pair of black and red 3/4 length surfing shorts and sandels. He had a t-shirt with him in a duffel bag for when the weather got colder, but that was hidden away behind the drinks, and he felt for now it was unncessary. Though he was tempted to go and get it. He was getting some of the oddest looks he'd ever experienced from some of the female student body.
First surprise to see him, and then a kind of look of mild admiration once their initial shock had passed. It was making Frick quite self concious, if he was honest. For now there didn't seem to be any trouble brewing, so he was walking aimlessly. He wanted to find a good vantage point, which was also out of the way.
He found a stop, though it appeared to be occupied by someone struggling with thier t-shirt. Mildly amused, and wanting to avoid anyone falling over and breaking their ankle, Frick strode across the sand towards them and tapped their arm. "I think you need some help." He smiled a little to himself, adjusting the shirt, realising the problem the girl was having was trying to pull her head through the wrong hole. "If you'll just stand still..." He pulled and tugged at the material until both arms were through the correct holes, and a head joined them, again out of the correct place. He was mildly surprised to see the struggling 'student' had been Professor Lehane. But he wasn't that surprised, Professor Lehane did seem to have a habit of making a bit of a scene, without meaning to.
"Are you okay now?" He asked with a lop-sided grin. Her hair was a little bit all over the place, but there was definately something about the Professor that Frick couldn't help but like. "Mind if I join your wall flower club?"
--
Silver stepped back a little shocked at the 'boo' from the person on Cino's back. She noticed who the person was, and folded her arms, relaxing. Sure now that Cino would be otherwise occupied with hormones and pheramones, Silver excused herself for the moment, walking a few steps in the opposite direction.
Stopping when she heard voices in her head.
She growled, annoyed that she was being exposed to MORE telepaths and looked around for the culprit. Seeing no one in eyeline, she averted her gaze downwards. A cat. Of course. A shapeshifter and telepath. Deciding it would draw less attention that kicking the culprit into the sea, she nudged it, a little hard than she should have, with her foot. "Don't do that again." She kept a fairly good grasp on her temper. She wasn't sure how long that would last though.
--
Anemone had arrived from the sea bed, after making a quick swim from the school to her village and back to visit her brother. The party had been in the process of being set up when she'd left and now was obviously in full swing. She left Fossu in the water, sure he would be safer there. And it also meant she didn't have her mental babysitter with her, and she climbed out of the waves, wringing her hair out.
Already dressed suitably in a red and white striped bikini (albeit she was wet while no one else was), she grabbed a drink from one of the passing students, snatching it from their hand and took a large gulp, her energetic swim having worn her out a little. She left the now empty can near the waste bins that had been set up and took to milling around the crowds to see if she could find any she knew.

Honey whirled around after hearing that someone wanted to offer her some much needed help. A few minutes later and her shirt sat comfortably over her shoulders and she found herself slipping into another of her nervous unnecessary explanations. “This doesn't normally - I mean I just got a little cold so I was putting on my shirt and - well I guess you’re thinking how does someone manage to get stuck in a t-shirt but you know my mom always said that I have little to no common sen --”
Once she had hastily straightened out her hair and had finished fidgeting with her large glasses which were now bent at an odd angle and sat crooked on her nose, her rant slowed to a stop.
Honey stared up at the man who had saved her from making a total and complete idiot out of herself (if she hadn’t already) and wished that she could just curl up and weep. Of all the people that could have helped her out - it was a professor. Honey lowered her head almost immediately. “Th-thanks.” She mumbled finally, her cheeks flustered from both her struggle and the somewhat unbearable embarrassment she now felt.
The blonde dreaded what the taller Professor must be thinking of her at the moment. The last thing she wanted or needed was the professors thinking she was a total moron. They were less likely to take her seriously as a professor if they did.
“I’m okay.” She replied with a nod, her fingers tugging at the hem of her shirt, it barely passed mid-thigh. She could have sworn this shirt was larger. It could have shrunk in the wash though. Maybe that was why she had gotten stuck? ‘That and I’m an idiot.’
Stepping to the side, Honey nodded in reply to his request to join her. He must’ve volunteered to watch over the students too.
“So..” Honey started with a hesitant laugh still reeling from her embarrassment, though she tried her best to hide it with a bright smile. “It’s a nice setup.” She commented, once again pushing her crooked glasses up the bridge of her nose with her index finger.

Frick's lips spread in a small grin as Honey burbled into a rant to excuse her silliness. He didn't think she needed to, but obviously it was going to make her feel better so he let her rant, keeping an eye on her rather oddly placed glasses. She was flustered and fidgiting like mad. Not that this surprised him much, the little he knew about Professor Lehane was that she was self-concious. That's how she came across. She was about as attentive as he was, and she was pretty unsure of herself. But that was kind of endearing.
He decided not to comment on the impromtu rant about her difficult with her clothing, thinking this would only make matters worse, and smily decided to nod when she had finsihed, and when she confirmed she was okay. "Well thats good." He confirmed stepping gratefully in the spot she made for him. "At least you didn't fall over - that really would have been embaressing." He meant the comment as a joke, but felt that maybe they hadn't been the best choice of words and uneasily cleared his throat.
"Yeah." He replied to her awkward attempt at conversation. "Its pretty impressive, we should probably commend the student who managed it... provided the night goes on without a hitch." He smiled at the blonde professor, while gently scratching one of his horns.
"To be honest... I didn't see this as your kind of scene. I think its cool that you decided to do this on your own bat. I'm only here cause I said I'd step in for Nimah. The thing wouldn't go ahead without at least two teachers to watch over proceedings. I guess I didn't want to let the kids down either." Frick said, grinning awkwardly when he realised he was rambling.
Slipping his hands into the pockets of his beach shorts, Frick looked across at where drinks were being kept. "Hey, do you want something to drink?" He looked at Honey, caulking his head to one side, smiling again.
